浴室のカビや、冷蔵庫の指紋が気になりました。　 カビについては掃除をお願いしたのですが、翌日も汚いままでした。 また、浴槽の栓が排水溝よりも小さく、お湯をためることができなかった為、交換をお願いしましたが、3日間の滞在中、改善されることはありませんでした。 それに加え、部屋に置かれるペットボトルがない日もあったり、バスローブにはゴミがついていたり、挙げ始めたらきりがありません。 朝ごはんはビュッフェスタイルで良かったので星をひとつ増やしました。

フロントが良くない
コンシェルジュには優しく対応していただきました。 フロントの英語がとても聴きづらく、何を言ってるかモゴモゴしてききとれませんでした。なんとか宿泊のホテルズドットコムを印刷して持って行ったものを見せて、3泊で3人で名前も1人づつ告げたにもかかわらず、1人だけ3泊で、後の2名は1泊になっていた。 あのフロントさえ誰か別の人に替えてもらえたらと思います。 1日おきにフロントがその人になるらしく、いつもそのフロントに当たります。別の人にしてくれるよう言いましたら、フロントの人から英語で何が罵声をかけられたようです。 ホテルは素晴らしかったけれど、差別するつもりもないけれど、あんなにモゴモゴとしか言葉を発声出来ない人をどうしてフロントにしているのか疑問です。 私達アジア人の英語を聞いてくれる気持ちが有ればと思います。

For a VIP experience there was no VIP. The room was one we have stayed in before and the air conditioning would not go down to the minimum. We were constantly hot. (We have stayed at the Cordis numerous times and are familiar with how to use the air conditioning unit). We were supposed to receive a complimentary bottle of wine in each room. We were asked on check in our preference which we said was white. They delivered red which no one drinks so we left it there. It would have been nice to have the wine available as a pre drink prior to heading out but it was in our room late that night after our return when we were heading to sleep. Reception staff were friendly.

I love the ambience, and when you walk inside their lobby it smells very refreshing, clean and classic. That means a lot and very important to me.

Bad house keeping, no top sheet on bed, bedding not changed, towels replaced on rack after being left on floor, building work noise in hotel early morning all reported to guest relations three times and ignored. Still waiting to here from managment as promised.

Easy check in and out. Staff were kind and professional. Plenty of amenities. Walkable access to local restaurants and heart of AKL city but also a quiet location.

Staff questioning me peculiarly as if they were suspicious of my patronage, calling after me and following me to the elevator asking if I need assistance. $10 room service delivery fee plus $1 service fee on top of regularly overpriced average food. Single beds that you zip together do not equate to a king size bed.

Check in was terrible, room not ready at 3.00pm tired charging me extra if I wanted room at 3.00pm and an extra bed when I booked for 3 people.

This is an amazing hotel with fantastic facilities for the whole family. I especially enjoyed the 24 hour gym which really helped with my jet lag. My daughters loved the swimming pool and my husband the hot tub. The steam room and sauna was an excellent way to relax after my gym sessions. The staff were so brilliant though out our stay here, so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. You truly have an excellent team here.

Return guest, having stayed in this hotel last month. In my previous visit of 5 days, on 2 occasions my room was not serviced. During this stay, despite calling service twice, they forgot service my room also. When they finally did, it was sloppy with rubbish not removed. To their credit, we were given a bottle of wine by way of apology following an escalation complaint. We also pointed out that the carpet by the lifts on our floor had significant dirty areas which clearly had not been vacuumed for over 4 days. Not a massive issue, but not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel either. Likewise a red wine glass was left beside a lift overnight and all day. The hotel is not cheap and on the whole delivers a great experience but these little ‘issues’ detracted from what should have been a truly 5 star experience. Very disappointing.

Staff are all caring and welcoming, including Samana in the breakfast restaurant.😊 We have stayed a few times over the last four years, and it never disappoints. Any issues are sorted out immediately, our room was quiet, good to be able to open the window plus bed was really comfortable.

Staff are very nice, from the reception up to the Eight restaurant staff, they are all friendly and welcoming. Room is average, was expecting a more flash one considering the facade and the hallway and lounge furnitures are all modern and sophisticated. I find the lighting too dark too in the hallway, maybe they are trying to get that elegant look but no, it rather looks scary even in the Chandelier Lounge, it's too dark you hardly see that food you're eating. Maybe it's about time to change those chandelier bulbs lol. Eight Restaurant never fails though! We have tried the dinner and lunch before but never the breakfast.. and I can say, food's quality is top-notch! Best breakfast buffet I have ever had in NZ! :) Swimming pool is nice too.. just a bit smaller than expected and 3-4 staff watching you swim seems kinda awkward. As if you are on a public pool plus they aren't lifeguards anyway.

The surrounding area itself has very little going on, it's noisy being next to the main road during the night and affected our sleeping. The hotel building itself is beautiful but just a little outdated, mostly the bathroom facilities. Valet parking was on point and reception staff were helpful, however room cleaning services were disappointing and restaurant breakfast wait staff were quite distant and at times unpleasant to deal with. Food was tasty and always lots of options which made breakfast experience better.

Our room was ready when we arrived early, and we also received an upgrade without asking. The room was spectacular. The front desk staff was outstanding with everything that we asked. The shuttle service was wonderful. We would definitely stay at Cordis again if we were in New Zealand.

Great property with friendly staff. Our room was very well appointed and spacious. They no longer have any parking except valet which is a bit unfortunate. Location is great for those in the medical area or going into CBD.
