Family Vacay at Lake Martin

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week-long vacation at Lake Martin. The location was perfect. Quiet with very little boat traffic. The house was clean and comfortable. And renting the pontoon boat for the week was the best. If you rent the house....strongly recommend renting the boat as well. There are lots of places to go on Lake Martin and we took the boat out every day. Would definitely go back again!

Beautiful House and Property

We visited for a football game with family and the house is perfect! The lake is beautiful. The decor of the home is beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed for a great weekend visit. We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay, great owners

We had a great time. Renting the pontoon was definitely worth it. Easy communication with owner. The house is clean, and the dock and boat are in good shape. I have a foot injury and a bum knee and was still able to handle the steps and driveway slope.

Quiet and relaxing

House is at the very end of the lack so it is super private and no worries about boat traffic. Ability to rent the pontoon boat was great.

Nice house and boat!

Upon entering and seeing a large painting of a pier, extending out over lake, I knew the owners had put a good deal of thought into their decorating. The house is well-maintained and the availability of a pontoon boat was a great convenience. Owners are very responsive to questions.

Beautifully remodeled, cozy and clean! The hosts were so welcoming and super fast to respond to any questions. Great location to all the best restaurants, yet in a quiet area of the lake.

A lovely retreat for Auburn visits

Adorable cabin with amazing outdoor spaces! Screened porch overlooking the lake was peaceful and comfortable. Our daughter and friends loved stopping by for hot dogs and smores by the fire pit. Restaurants, grocery stores, directions, and all necessary information was provided. Wonderful communication! Will be passing this rental link on to other Auburn parents. Wish it was available for graduation weekend!!

Perfect lake cabin

The house was the perfect lake cabin—- rustic on a wooded lot with a nice porch with swings to hang out off the back of the house and a dock where you can hang out by the water. The inside is light and bright and comfortable. The bedrooms are nice and the bathrooms are clean— plenty of hot water even with 6 of us stating there. Also we cooked most of our meals and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils etc We came specifically to go to the auburn game but made a long weekend of it. It was a very short ride to go to the game. In short we had a wonderful weekend with family and friends. Great place!

Auburn Parents Weekend

Property was very nice and just a short 30 min drive into Auburn. Didn’t have much time at the house or to visit/eat anywhere near Lake Martin as we we super busy with parent’s weekend and a home night game. Do wish the beds in main rooms were bigger. Will definitely be back and would like to enjoy the Lake next time!

Quiet and relaxing

Very quiet area on the Lake. We rarely saw other people or boats. Great price for the house. We also enjoyed the pontoon boat, rode to a quiet cove nearby and stayed in the water floating. Loved the recliners on the sofas too.

Relaxing and Fun for the Whole Family!

We had such a great time! The covered porch with swings, overlooking the lake was such a great place to have our morning coffee! We loved taking the pontoon boat out each day to soak up some sun and enjoy the beautiful lake! Perfect and spacious home for the whole family and/or friends!

Great quiet place on the lake.

Everything was as shown online. The host was very fast with responding and communicating. The house is in a cove so very private and quiet. We did rent their boat as well which was so nice.

Serenity now!

Such a peaceful place! This was our first trip to Lake Martin and we loved the location. There is easy access to the water, a nice, big fire pit, beautiful view from the deck and plenty of comfortable space indoors as well. Fridge is nice and big with plenty of space for food and drinks to feed a family. The owners are very responsive, responding to questions quickly and providing immediate assistance during our stay. We especially enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, evening games at the big dining room table, and swimming and paddle boarding without worry of speedy boats coming through!

Amazing

Clean is a understatement! This is the cleanest vacation property we have ever stayed at! Great communication with owners! They have thought of practically everything you need and provided it! If you plan to be on a boat highly recommended downloading the Lake Martin Voice app, we navigated to all the popular land marks and restaurants by using this app! Love the quietness of the cove! Very safe for children to swim! Also being in the cove the water was so calm! We can not wait to return to this property! Thank you for an amazing week at your lake home!

Stay over Mother’s Day weekend 2023.

The property was lovely. The only problem I had was that I am handicapped and walking is difficult. The property sits atop a big hill with a very steep driveway. This made egress/exit very difficult for me. This may have been mentioned in the listing-I really don’t remember. But the property was lake-front, quiet and beautiful!

The property itself was as shown on the website. The neighborhood was quite. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to family or friends. My only complaint was I didn't catch any fish [smile], but overall a good stay.

Perfect Place

We loved the house and location. It was very private. Everything was clean and everything we needed was there. Gas grill was a great feature. Did not have to worry about charcoal for grilling. Fire pit and dock were nice. Thank you for letting us enjoy our weekend and sharing your lake house. We would recommend this house and saved this lake house on my favorite list.
