"I arrived early in the morning before check-in and the staff was absolutely amazing! They held onto my bags and put them in my room before I got back. They provided me recommendations things to see and do, which the location is perfect because it’s right in the heart of Old Town, providing so much to explore! I chose a moderate room but it was incredibly comfortable and met the need. And the breakfasts… Absolutely top-notch! My favorite area was the family lounge. I found myself relaxing in there every evening with a cup of coffee and just decompressing from the days activities. I’m so glad I chose The Wellenberg and would do so again!!!"

"I wish the had better toiletries for the shower. The shower also tended to exceed the limits and spread water on the floor. We had to be careful in that respect, and wasted a lot of towels to keep it contained. Otherwise the room was comfy. We had a balcony which was sweet. Staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"Hotel Walhalla was such a beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. I stayed one night and found the room to be very spacious, clean, and updated. The location is very convenient as it is right across from the tram stops and the train station making it very easy for travelers like myself. It’s also super close to some main attractions like the Abbey Library which was only a 9 minute walk. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was complimentary with the stay. Would definitely stay here if you are looking for a very nice and safe hotel in St. Gallen."
