「We rented the chalet in August 2024. Check in was simple. The chalet is clean, welcoming, the kitchen is well equipped. We had a surprise when we arrived at the chalet where we found gifts for our young children. (After a 7 hours flight delay it was more than appreciated). There was équipements for a young family (beach toys, stroller, high chair, stool). Hosts were available when needed and very friendly. 「We were to be in the Green Chalet (the word chalet is quite misleading). Informed host we would be arriving late. Chalet could only be identified by the roof colour, which in the dark is not visible. A sign on the cabin would have been helpful. The breakfast (an additional charge) was watery scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, dry bread, frozen raspberries. The manager was to be in at 8:00, finally showed up at 8:25. Though we were a group of seniors here for cycling, this is a very family friendly place with a great beach, warm water and happy families. Bas-Caraquet is a beautiful & friendly place.
