The hotel is lovely and very close to the beach but for rooms on one side of it you are right next to the roller coaster at the amusement park on the boardwalk and that was very loud and went until midnight.

Enjoyed the location to the board walk, beach and public access. The room was great for us with having separate pull out couch. There is no view from these rooms. You are right at amusement park which goes till midnight. The parking was great because under cover. I would stay again since beach is the highlight

The location is right off the boardwalk. There was some noise from the amusement rides next store but the bedroom was on the opposite side from the rides. Big room with comfy bed. Elevator broke on checkout day. Not a lot of travel to rooms with chairs and guest leaving stuff outside of the rooms.

Close to boardwalk, clean. Updated property. Very central to everything, good soundproofing seeing as how it was next to a roller coaster. Did not need housekeeping for our 3 night stay, just asked for a towel refresh. Only caveat is check in is at a sister location, about a 2 minute walk away. Will stay again, or will try their sister location with the 2/3 bedroom suites next time!

We had an amazing visit to OCNJ this summer. The Wild Dunes Inn was great. Very clean and convenient. The only downside (if you have little ones) is the sounds of fun from the boardwalk Rollercoaster. I'd chalk it up to a happy inconvenience 😊

We had a great time exploring the boardwalk.. The motel was less than a block from the beach. On site parking for my larger truck was adequate. If we return we would make use of the kitchenette.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Dunes! The location is perfect—right on the boardwalk block and so convenient to everything. Having an included parking spot was also a huge plus. The unit had everything we needed, including a small refrigerator, two burners, a dishwasher, and a microwave. I really liked having a separate bedroom, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. Beach tags being included was another nice bonus. I also appreciated how easy it was to speak with someone face-to-face if we needed anything. The coded entry made us feel safe and made coming and going very easy. My only suggestion would be to have a couple more pillows and extra blankets available. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, no-frills place for your family in a great location, Wild Dunes is a great option. Everything worked as it should, we had what we needed, and the convenience of the location made our stay even better. We would definitely stay again!

I love this place! It was clean and the separate bedroom was very convenient. It had everything we needed. Couldn’t get much closer to the beach and boardwalk. There is a loud roller Coaster next door, but the rooms were pretty quiet, the back bedroom especially. My one year old grandson loved running back and forth on the balcony and watching the rollercoaster. Be alert that the beach is extra narrow at that point. We went early to grab our spot. Everyone is packed in. But we had a great time!

The ONLY issue I had was Expedias check in time says 3 pm and the actual check in time was 4 pm. And the staff said this was a frequent issue. It should match.

Location, location, location. Steps from the boardwalk. Can't beat that. The hotel is fine. Nothing special (could use some renovations and updates, for sure). No bells and whistles. Don't expect a bunch of amenities or a luxury stay. But if you are looking to be close to the boardwalk and the beach, this hotel provides it. Was great to wake up early in the morning and be walking the boardwalk (getting in the daily steps) only a few minutes later. I'd book again.
