Seamless check in process! John made himself available to answer all my questions. The house was in excellent condition and the location was perfect for us. Enough space for all of our families to enjoy a great beach vacation for the week. The house also has beautiful finishes and everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare food for the week. Would definitely recommend!

Right on the beach

The location is absolutely amazing. We have come to Ocean City every year for the past 15 years to visit family and this is by far the best location we have stayed at. There is a unit upstairs that you will most definitely hear throughout your trip but we were very fortunate to have mostly quiet neighbors for our trip (sound machines would possibly help). You also need to bring along ALL of the essentials (which for the price I didn’t expect). I’ve never checked into a rental that didn’t at least have a roll of toilet paper in a bathroom to hold you over until you can get to a grocery store. Just a few things that were a complete oversight on my part that I should have asked prior to our stay that would have made the first day a bit smoother.

It was perfect!!

We just returned from John’s property and it exceeded our expectations from the description; quality renovations with new furnishing. This is our first stay “oceanfront” and we’ll be back, amazing view from our deck and living area. With a 2 month old, and 3 year old, it was really convenient to pop back to the house from the beach.

Stop Scrolling and Start Booking

This property has everything you could ask for. The location was perfect, it was steps away from the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk. The beach at 26th street had a lifeguard stand which was great for our young children. The views from the kitchen were spectacular and the home was well stocked with cooking equipment. It also had smart TVs in almost every room which the kids really enjoyed.

We only had 4 guests staying overnight at the house. We stayed at this big house for entertaining family and friends who have places around the area. All of our guests were awed by the location and house. The living and dining areas, including the large deck overlooking the beach are beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked for any culinary purposes. Everything we needed for a great experience.

Definitely not what we paid for !

This is what should be a beautiful beachfront property with gorgeous views. However it is obvious that the owner takes little care in keeping the place hospitable for such a huge price. Several rooms missing wastepaper baskets. The blankets for several bedrooms were filthy with stains, they should have been donated to a dog shelter, not given to guests paying up to 19K for a week at a summer home. The large area rug in master bedroom has huge gross stains on it. There was an immediate stench in kitchen by sink area - I looked under sink to find a broken leaking pipe with a container under it catching black sludge. The ice maker didn’t work, and sometimes leaked onto floor. From the first day, it was a guess as to which of the three toilets was going to back up (and I’m not talking about number two) - just completely broken toilets. Owner did have the plumber come, but the problem was never rectified properly and the problem was never fixed. We were left trying to fix toilets and play toilet Roulette all week. At the end of our stay owner offered a mere $1500 back on our almost 19K rental price. I had no choice but to accept it. The worst part is I just noticed that he actually only gave me back $1000 —- so he’s still trying to cheap us out! Very disappointing!

Absolutely Perfect

My extended family take a week in Ocean City every year and we were lucky enough to book this gorgeous property this year. The beach access was amazing having 5 kids and all their gear to tow! Far enough from the boardwalk that it was nice and quiet but close enough that we could hop in the golf cart and do all the boardwalk things. Overall great property, great location & great host.

FANTASTIC location, nice house, missing a few things

Great location, just 3 blocks from the boardwalk, and steps from a wonderful part of the OC beach. House has a good layout and was clean and comfortable for our family and guests (comfy beds, good layout). A little worn, stained master bedroom rug, uncomfortable metal deck furniture, and missing a few beach basics (no beach chairs or toys), scratched pots, tiny coffee pot and slow cooktop...something to be aware of if you like to cook at home. Overall recommend. A few simple additions would have made this a 5-star for our family.

Close to the beach

This house was clean. And short walk to the beach. John the host is easy to get a hold of answers back in a very timely manor. Some minor issues were, the sofa is not comfortable, the master bed is squeeky probably because the bed is half on and half off an area carpet. Upstairs neighbors dumped water off the balcony and splashed all over my husband below while he was working but this is not a reflection on John at all. Besides the minor things We would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Deck View

The pictures of the house are all accurate. We loved all the rooms (6 if you use the downstairs) but the best part clearly was the view from the deck. It was AMAZING!!! I could hardly drag myself to the beach because the view was so perfect. So peaceful and the location was perfect.

Spacious in a great location

The house was as described : perfectly located, awesome viiews, with easy access to the beach. The inside was roomy and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. The host was very informative and courteous. Overall a great stay. The only negative experience was with the neighbors: dumping water on us on the terrace below, party past midnight, the sound travels easily between units with the shared elevator.

Happy Place in Ocean City

My family and I recently stayed in this beautiful house in Ocean City. I almost cried when I saw the view from the 2nd floor outdoor space, which had plenty of seating and lounge chairs. The natural rolling dunes leading to the ocean was breathtaking. The sound of the waves was mesmerizing. The furnishings were comfortable and tastefully done. We all slept peacefully on the comfortable beds. John was a wonderful host. We had a few questions once inside, and he promptly answered them. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. Simply Amazing

stayed for five nights. with my family and a couple of boy/girl friends. there was plenty of room. the family area is so wide open and airy. plenty of room to spreadout and enjoy each other. the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. got up every morning to watch the sunrise. you could hear the waves day and night. it was always pleasent to sit on the balcony. the beach was right in front of us and an easy walk. the beach was clean and practically empty. When the tide was out it was huge also. we went here to get away on the first anniversary of a sad event for our family and the peacefulness of this place and OCNJ in general made it a little easier for us. We will return.

An amazing home and location!

I can't say enough about how great this property is. The location is phenomenal as we could walk right onto the beach. The boardwalk was a quick drive away but was also within walking distance, if you were up to a long walk in the evening. The neighborhood was quiet and the parking couldn't have been better as we had access to a garage and the driveway. There were more than enough bathrooms for our large group and the master suite was a vacation unto itself. There was an outdoor shower on the lower level patio so cleaning up three kids after a day on the beach was easy. One of the things that we needed for a member of our group was an elevator. This amenity worked perfectly and made our trip possible. The balcony had an amazing view. We began each day enjoying our breakfast to the sounds and sights of the beach and ocean. At night we could see the boardwalk in the distance and enjoy the evening breeze blowing in from the water. We had occasion to communicate with the owner during and after our stay. All of our questions were answered quickly and he was a pleasure to rent from. We look forward to our next visit to OCNJ and will definitely be staying here again!
