Before arriving we were notified of water damage to the walls it was much more extensive then perceived.
Upon arrival it was noted that the top bunk had not been clean as it was covered in food debris and disheveled. We also discovered the fridge had not been cleaned and there was still coffee in the coffee pot. Within an hour of being in the space our feet were black with dirt. There was nothing to properly clean with during your stay. The rug in the main room was so full of sand(at arrival) it definitely required a vacuum to be cleaned and had clearly not been. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well as the main bed in the bedroom.
After complaining about the state of the floors we were given a swifter mop and cleaning solution to clean the room ourselves. The swifter barely made a dent in the dirt and needs a proper clean. We had no hot water but that was fixed quickly. We also discovered there is no lock for the sliding glass door to the balcony. This is a third floor room - a big safety hazard. The balcony railing is also rotting and so loose. The ac wouldn’t go below 75 even thought it was set on 60. The drawers and wardrobes were filthy inside. The furniture is more for a freshman college dorm than a relaxing beach condo. TVs didn’t work in bedrooms.
The property is amazing the indoor and outdoor pool and water slide are 5 star, the property is worth it but this room needs to be properly cleaned and updated before it’s rented again.
