If you’re coming in from elsewhere, Omonia Station is the easiest metro stop, with Victoria and Panepistimio also close by. You can also hop on a bus or trolleybus that drops you right at Exarchia Square, just steps from Zonara Street.
Getting Around:
Exarchia in Athens is easy to reach by metro through Omonia, Panepistimio, or Victoria stations, and buses and trolleys run along the main avenues nearby, with taxis available for quick trips. The neighborhood itself is compact, with narrow streets best explored on foot, allowing you to take in its cafés, bookshops, street art, and lively atmosphere. For a quieter break, Strefi Hill offers greenery and panoramic city views, making walking the most authentic way to get around and experience Exarchia’s character.
