Ocean view was spectacular! Clean rooms and hotel. Staff was very helpful. The food was home cooked, excellent and reasonably priced. I believe the chef was the father/owner great guy, laughed a lot. It’s out of the way, but worth it. Two beaches close by, one was hopping on the weekend.

Beautiful location but it is better to have a rental car. Also bring repellent for mosquitoes. That was the only problem for me. The hotel is nice and the balcony plus the beach were the best parts.

I had a great week at this family owned hotel. Daskalio beach is an awesome place to swim and snorkel. The water and cliff beaches make for great exploration. Yon need a car. Internet is very basic you need your own esim. There are a number of great local restaurants around. This is not a Riverina experience, it is place where the locals enjoy the beach. The hotel food is authentic home made greek. I had great meals. Be patient and Come with right expectations and you will have a great experience. One of the best weeks I have had in seaside Europe.

We enjoyed our time here. It was a longer driving time into Athens than we expected. That is obviously no fault of the property. It was quiet and peaceful.

Das Zimmer war sauber, sanitäre Einrichtung ist nicht mehr Standard. Service gut. Leute sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Speisenangebot begrenzt, aber sehr gut. Alle Wünsche wurden nach Möglichkeit berücksichtigt. Herrlicher Blick auf die Bucht. Toller Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer. Frühstück echt griechisch nach Wunsch. Es hat uns gut gefallen.

2 adults - no children; We stayed at this location the last 2 nights. I wish I had only booked just the last night and no longer. The older gentleman was super sweet and helpful and really was the only reason we stayed. They keep the front doors locked at all times and this should have been our first clue. The hotel largely felt abandoned, I think we were the only guests and it was very dark with flickering lights. Our room was on a corner with a good sized balcony and beautiful views. Be battled mosquitos in our room constantly for two days - I'm not really sure how they were getting in but we never seemed to kill them all. Our room was clean and had everything we needed or was brought when we asked. The adjacent dark-sand beach was used frequently by locals and had areas to access the water. We did not get into the water here.

Basic but functional

The setting is very nice. The rooms are very basic but comfortable enough. The food at the restaurant isn't good quality. The standard of service in hotel and restaurant is very poor, and the staff are unbelievably rude.

"For those who only seek out new places, this might not be their first choice, but this older building, despite its age, was clean and offered a breathtaking view that simply entranced me. The staff were so genuinely kind. I had to rush out for an early breakfast because of my flight, and I was so grateful for their caring efforts to send me off with more. Being surrounded by such good people and that beautiful view truly felt like a healing escape. It was a wonderful memory."

Decent place with seaside location

The staff takes care of you here. The place is not so up to date, but it's got character. The breakfast is fresh if fairly minimal. The dinner was like home cooking and surprisingly good. The dishes were different from what we had been having. Restaurants nearby close early in off peak season. Taxi fare is €40 each way for the airport.

We found Daskalio after a couple cancelled ferries threw a wrench in our travel plans. Although it was not in our plans to stay there, we chose it because of the sea view and it far exceeded expectations! The rooms are simple but have everything you need, and the pictures of the view don’t do it justice. The area has many walkable beaches and a few taverns we found, as well as a good restaurant in the hotel itself. What really stood out to us, however, was the incredibly kind staff. They accommodated our every need, and welcomed us back when our second ferry was cancelled. They cooked us great dinners and breakfasts, and offered plenty of water for the room. Another highlight was our taxi driver the staff called for us, Kostas. Kostas really turned our bad moods around and he offered to take us on a tour of the town for a very small fee. He is a gem and I highly recommend using him for transportation. Overall, we had a great experience at Daskalio Beach Hotel and I truly can’t recommend it enough! Thank you guys so much for everything.
