The Athenian Spirit had everything I could want in a property in Athens. Close proximity to all the sights but not located in a jammed tourist trap area but in a real neighborhood, comfy bed, nice terrace, and a view of the Acropolis from the rooftop. Athenian Spirit also has Eleni at the front desk. Eleni is a delight and really helpful with recommendations and epxlanations of the property. She helped us out a lot and we could not thank her enough for her kindness. If planning a trip to Athens and you want to stay outside the tourist crush but in the city consider Athenian Spirit. Will definitely recommend to my friends if they visit Athens . Also, not sure if things changed since earlier reviews but the loud music was not audible from our room.

Liked everything about this property. Easy to walk to many attractions, some great restaurants too. Staff and communication were fantastic. Beautiful roof top patio with amazing views at night. Kitchenette well stocked and comfortable beds.

The lady on the front desk was super sweet! I checked in late and it worked out perfectly. Room was big and clean! Metro was really close so it was perfect location for us. Definitely will be back!

Our room was very nice and the staff was very helpful with a medical issue we needed to find help with. Phone calls were made and we were able to get the help we needed. We enjoyed the view of the Parthenon from the rooftop and it was a nice place to get together with our group that was traveling together.

I visited the Athenian Spirit hotel for the fifth time and after staying in dozens of other Athens hotels - this is my top choice so far. And having extensive experience in hospitality I cannot hide my admiration that the Athenian Spirit management keeps the high standard and excellent quality of services and amenities. Well-connected with the whole city, in the middle of the cultural Gazi area and the party zone around it, the hotel makes your stay as enjoyable as possible. My only recommendation - provide 2 key cards for the hotel guests - they don't cost much and it is easy to manage their return. Using just one card by guests with different agenda and time schedules is complicated. So I hope to get back soon and take advantage of everything Athens and the Gazi area offer.
