"First I want to say that first impressions can be deceiving...the hotel does not have great curb appeal but once we parked and walked to the check-in area it was like a hidden oasis. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff is amazing and the views are stunning. I was in Astoria for a Goonies road trip with two of my lifelong friends and ending the trip with a stay at the Herondale was the cherry on top. We will definitely be back."

"The room was nice and remodeled and very spacious with a nice balcony to sit on. We enjoyed the table to play games on as well. It’s obviously an older hotel but pretty well maintained. The breakfast was good and the price was pretty good."

"We had an excellent corner suite room with plenty of room, comfortable furniture and bed, and a view out to the river. The staff (that would be you, Sara Ann, and the morning person whose name we didn't get) were wonderful and we look forward to a return visit. Convenient on-street parking."

"Convenient to the airport, IHOP restaurant an easy walk away had great service and food, best western had coffee, juice, and muffins/toast already at 3 in the morning so we could have something before catching shuttle and flight. Very organized. In flight zone so hear planes but convenient for flights in:out"

"The room was great, very clean with an amazing view. The bed was horrible. It seemed like it was broken as if someone had jumped on it. Also the upstairs plumbing was extra loud. The staff is super nice. The manager did say they are doing extensive renovation with new beds and tv's this year."
