You do need to hire a car.

「We had a wonderful 3 night stay, in July, at this magical B&B. The property boasts the most incredible view overlooking the bays of Fidkado and onto the Island Ithaki. Maira and her team go above and beyond to make your stay a truly memorable experience. The attention to detail and clear instructions are very helpful. 「Hotel room was lovely and clean and service. Overall good ! If only pick at the safety of our room for children in the mezzanine room. The stairs had rope as decoration but not secure enough to use as a handrail and upstairs where the children’s room the window didn’t lock !! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the team were welcoming and understanding of a loud 8 and 3 year old 」
「We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sami Beach Hotel. We’d booked 3 nights at the hotel but ended up staying for 10 nights as we were massively let down by the villa owner on the day of arrival in Kefalonia (we’d booked 5 months prior). Caroline on reception and owner Spiro couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely family run hotel.
