Delightful Stay

We spent a night at a Casa della Fate. It is a charming spacious place at an ideal location, in the heart of Assisi. Our host was warm and friendly. He kept our bags for us after check-out time and arranged a taxi to the train station for us. We'd would definitely stay there again.

Very pleasant and comfortable

Our stay in Assisi was complemented by the this apartment. It was situated in a quiet area with great dining options within 30m. The beds were comfortable and the coffee makers helped get us up and at it in the morning. The hosts were very friendly and responsive during all communications. Overall, from our experience, you would be well served by staying here during your time in Assisi.

Very Good Location

In a word I would call this stay quirky. The apartment seems to be a place where you can just rent a bedroom without kitchen access should you choose. As a result, the kitchen cupboards are completely empty. We did find some dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc in a small cabinet which could be locked. The amenities were minimal. The checkin was helped by the host providing direction to our taxi driver. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean. You are right on the street so you can expect some traffic noise but it was surprisingly quiet at night. You are only minutes from St Frances Basilica and just a short walk from the main square. The living area is on one floor with one bedroom and bath downstairs and the other upstairs. Overall I would say that this is a great place to spend a few days but it might be difficult for a longer stay.

Charming Assisi Stay

The apartment was clean and charming, in a great location and very close to the sites and restaurants in Assisi. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment. Communication with Lorena, her husband and son was open and easy. They were all helpful and Lorena even helped us with recommending a taxi driver who was equally as helpful.

Its a very clean apartment. It has a very nice location close to the St. Francis Church. The only thing is that it doesn’t have air conditioning. But at night you can open the windows and it’ll cool down. If you plan to stay hire a taxi to take you with your luggage from the entrance of the town. It is very hard to walk all the way up with luggage. But overall it was very nice!

Good location

The property is in a good location although it is on a busy - at least for Assisi - street. The flat is somewhat noisy because of its proximity to the street although some of the noise may have been due to the fact that we stayed the week after easter. The beds are comfortable and while the bedrooms are small they are adequate. The common area does contain a kitchen and a seating area but is quite small. The 7 or 8 steps leading from the street to the flat are very step and the stairs within the unit are somewhat steep but manageable. The directions to the small store that provides keys and access were a little confusing but that may have been accentuated by the traffic restrictions and the crowds when we checked in. Overall the flat is adequate for the purpose.
