「Liz and Glenn operate an amazing property, they are extremely helpful and accommodating hosts, their breakfasts are outstanding, our room was very clean and comfortable. Herriots is superbly located in the town of Hawes, which itself has plenty of food and beverage outlets as well as being well positioned to access all that the Dales has to offer.」

「This "lodge" was a disappointment. The "breakfast" consisted of shrink wrapped continental breakfast items in the room. There was no "service" here to speak of. Not even a number to call or a basic information sheet. Completely unattended!」

「It is a dog and child friendly pub with a large garden area with a childrens bouncy castle, so if you like dogs and children this is the place for you. The Menu was a little restricted to typical pub grub. Prices for wine and beer were on the high side. If you want to eat a meal without being disturbed by hoard of children going to the toilet then avoid the garden room dining area.」

「Nice location and staff. Food was on schedule and good. Comfortable bed and rooms. Parking was limited, but that’s an issue all over UK. We would stay there again.」
