「This inn is very nice place for my feeling of nature by the sea. I’m particularly recommend of the hospitality the staff!! There is a bus stop nearby.

「I needed a quiet and safe place to sleep at night while I was helping family, and Lover's Point Inn fit the bill. I could see that other units on my floor had been renovated with vinyl planks and blackout curtains. Mine had not been worked on yet, and still had carpet and curtains that let in the light outside. I was glad I had brought a mask. The tub/shower was clean and updated. I loved the windows that would actually open!!!! Parking is tricky if you get in after 6pm. There are some places...

「We were excited about the Lighthouse Lodge but felt a little duped by what we were shown online. The room that we got is one of 6 queen bed rooms at the front of the property. These units are older and not as updated as the rest of the property. As it turns out, those units do not appear in any of the photos. Even the photos of the breakfast are of the cottages down the street. Had we known what we were getting at this price point, we would have gone somewhere else. The other units seemed nice...

「Although this is an older hotel, management has done a great job of keeping it clean, well-maintained, and looking updated. The hotel is located in a safe area, within walking distance of just about everything you might need. I absolutely loved the location! The hotel does have an elevator, but there are still some stairs you may need to use to access certain rooms. If you have mobility concerns, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to confirm whether a room is available that does not...

「The room was clean, and we felt safe.」

「Nothing particular」

「I have chosen to stay at the Portola Hotel for five consecutive years, and it is always exceptionally pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is safe and scenic, making my morning and evening strolls highly enjoyable. A special highlight this year was spotting wild sea otters near the hotel for the first time. It has truly become my go-to hotel in Monterey, and I already look forward to returning.」
