5. Getaway Near Mass MoCA, Great Hiking, Scenic Views

Stamford

「Nice place to hang your hat! Checking in was easy, just a keypad. Kitchen has all the amenities you need for basic cooking, bathroom includes a long bathtub for a relaxing soak. It’s also across the street from an ice cream place! My only (very minor) con was that kids were playing loudly most of day, so not exactly a remote/quiet getaway, but hey, kids will be kids and I was off enjoying meals & hiking most of the day anyway. Would recommend!」

6. Cozy 2-bedroom Apartment within Walking Distance to Mass MoCA and Downtown

North Adams

「We were staying in N. Adams for an event at MassMOCA. This property was in walking distance. The STEEP hill on the way home provided some nice exercise. This property is in a neighborhood that consists almost exclusively of houses that either need a great deal of care or that are currently being renovated. This place is the former. We were lucky enough to be there when the summer weather wasn't hot. As such were happy to not feel the need to run the AC. Unfortunatley our neighbors were loud and we...

9. New Studio In Town, By the Water

Williamstown

「Had a very nice stay. We were in town for the Solid Sound Festival, and its location to North Adams as well as being near Williams College was ideal. A very cozy place to stay for the weekend, with the added bonus of being able to dip our feet into the river behind the house. Also, I recommend stepping into the antique store next door for some kitschsy finds. Would stay again when back in the area.」

14. Chic 2BR Suite on Jiminy Mtn Sleeps 8 - Gorgeous

Hancock

「Great location. Up to date amenities in the kitchen and bath. Nice common area. The kids room had bunks as described. Communication with the host was good. It’s a cute place. A few things to note that affected my enjoyment. There are missing curtains/blinds in the common area where the pull out couch is located. You will not have privacy from surrounding buildings and condos seeing in your windows or the sun waking you up at 7am. There is NOT a King size bed in the master. It’s a double bed and...

「I chose this place at the very last minute. The place was well tended: clean, with towels and extras blankets ready. Howard, the owner, checked on...

16. Gorgeous Zen Must-See Suite At Jiminy Country Inn - Sleeps 4 Ski On/Off at Mtn

Hancock

「Nice property in a beautiful location adjacent to Jiminy Creek mountain resort. Very nice restaurant, bar and convenience store and breakfast/sandwich shop on site. Host was attentive and helpful. There were a number of water-related "gadgets" in the room. We couldn't figure out how any of them worked. But the massage chair worked well and we enjoyed that thoroughly! Overall very nice and i would stay there again.」

18. 1st Floor Mountain View Suite Ski On/Off At Jiminy- Fully Redone Decor

Hancock

「When we entered the room, there was a very bad smell of stale air, dust, and dampness. Many areas were dusty, and the kitchen utensils were incredibly dirty—we couldn’t even touch them. The bathroom was old, the water pressure was very low, and the sink was clogged. The bed was uncomfortable, with one side sunken in. The sheets and pillows did not seem to have been washed, and the duvet was thrown inside the closet. We could not spend any time in the room at all and only came back to sleep.」
