Our host was very welcoming and thoughtful. She made a number of very helpful suggestions about places to eat. The cottage was perfect. This is our second stay and we'll be back.

Everything was great! It’s in a peaceful location not too far from Main Street. The trail on the property is a nice bonus. Perfect for a two person weekend getaway.

This cottage was super cute and cozy and was thoroughly cleaned prior to us arriving. It is a little hard to find at first but it is totally worth it to be in the mountains away from the city. The cottage was pet friendly and had a lot of land and trails to walk. Our dogs had a great time exploring! The host is very friendly and responded quickly to all messages and check in was a breeze. They provided a binder full of recommendations, helpful maps, and other information. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, and other supplies, which is always a bonus. We loved how remote this place felt while still being relatively close to town and only about 15-20 minutes from Asheville. The local area had several cute shops and places to get coffee, we loved Yellow Mug Coffee Lounge, which was minutes away! We would absolutely stay here again if we were back in the area.

Perfect for the two of us. Kitchen was very well equipped. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Beautiful location.Skiing rating was required by VRBO but it did not apply.

We enjoyed a few night stay at the Cozy Cottage and had a wonderful time. The home is an over-the-detached-garage apartment with a large central room with a kitchen area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. There was plenty of room for yjen2 of us and our dog. The accommodations were tasteful and relaxing. The property was also very special. Located in the woods, we were surrounded by the wonderful Fall colors. The hiking trails ON THE PROPERTY were delightful and full of surprises. We encountered the host and their dog a few times and found them to be very friendly and welcoming. The Asheville area has a lot to offer. We were there to see a band playing at The Grey Eagle Tavern, but the getaway gave us som much more than the show. The Cozy Cottage is full of charm and we look forward to visiting again soon.

It is an easy ride to Weaverville, a bustling, friendly mountain town, with amazing restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the trails around the cottage with our dog, the changing leaves, and the cottage's natural setting. A special shout out to Stoney Know Cafe and Maggie's. (best sandwich I ever had). We will be back!

The property is conveniently located in a rural neighborhood just outside of town. Very quiet and very beautiful forested property.Close to town including restaurants, grocery stores and only a few miles from Asheville.

This cozy cottage in the woods checked all my boxes. It was secluded but safe, clean and very comfy, the hosts were so wonderful. The property around the cottage was lovely and we enjoyed hiking the trails with our pups.

We loved the location, views. The cottage was lovely, nicely decorated, immaculately clean. The picture of the cottage showed five steps leading up to it, but there were actually many more leading from the parking area to those steps. My wife uses a walker and those steps made entry to the cottage more challenging. Otherwise, for anyone without mobility issues, the cottage would clearly be a five star experience. The only other minor issue was that had the garage lights been on when we arrived it would have made our entry somewhat easier. All of that said, otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay and the cottage was as described and a fantastic place for our visit to the area.

The Cozy Cottage is a hidden gem in Weaverville, NC. Beautiful surroundings and secluded. The cottage is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed walking the trails on the property. We were welcomed with chocolates on our pillows and a bottle of wine. Janie and John are great hosts, extremely welcoming and so very kind. We enjoyed a visit with Ziggy, one of their dogs. Thank you for your hospitality. We loved the Cozy Cottage and will surely visit again. We left with new friends that we hope to see again. What a memorable week. We didn't want to leave. Very charming and a perfect getaway.

The cabin was lovely and just like the listing! The property is gorgeous, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The hosts' house is nextdoor, so they are readily available if needed. The driveway is kindof steep, but it's in the mountains so that's what you'd expect.

Fantastic stay in this adorable “cottage” in the woods. The perfect combination of being very close to restaurants and shops and also privacy in the woods. Check in and out was a breeze with an awesome host. Highly recommend!!

Lovely Stay

Janie was very accommodating with our late arrival and extended stay so we could fit in a few more activities on our trip. The cottage was very clean and cozy. It is located on their property so it is not secluded completely, but it still felt private. Location is great to reach different areas around Asheville and the city itself. We brought our dog Charlie with us and there were no issues. Overall it was very wonderful!

Family visit

The property was lovely and well maintained. It is secluded and quiet. We honesly didn't spend much time there though. We were visiting family and had a pretty full schedule of events.

Pleasant retreat in a convenient location

We had a wonderful stay at this place - super clean, beautiful grounds, comfortable mattress, extra comfy porch swing, and a well-supplied kitchen. Perfect place to spend a day relaxing, working on a puzzle by the gorgeous arched window that faces the woods. Was not quite as private as we'd thought- from the listing we could tell it was on the same property as a larger home, but didn't realize we'd be looking right at it through the living room windows and from the porch swing. Didn't bother us, but maybe isn't what some folks are looking for if they want to be secluded. Janie was extremely welcoming and kind! She stopped by with Ziggy, their super friendly pup. Had a great time. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!

Cozy and comfortable

My husband and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary. The cabin is cozy and comfortable and well appointed. The location is great. You are in the peace of the mountains but also a short drive from food and shopping.

Perfect cozy getaway in the mountains

My partner and I came to stay with our 2 dogs and immediately fell in love with the cabin and the property. The hosts were super communicative and very kind - even leaving chocolates on the pillows We can't wait to stay again - perfect trip for anyone with dogs because of the walking trails and outdoor hangout areas all along the property. Highly recommend!!
