We thought the house was very nice, cute and well equipped. We found the entry drive a bit challenging and were glad we arrived in the daytime so that locating the property was not as bad as it could have been.

Cozy Cottage

It is a good name for the property. Quirky cottage with attentive property manager. I stayed for hurricane relief and it was perfect for my needs.

Nice place

We enjoyed each having our own bedroom with private bathrooms. Good location and quiet setting. Beds were comfortable. Some of the furnishings and carpet were worn and could use updating/replacing. We had a good visit and would return to the Asheville and Black Mountain areas.

Great house in Asheville

The property was clean and in a great location. It was only minutes from downtown Asheville with easy access to the highway. The directions to the house were easy to follow even though it was in a fairly isolated area. The three bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. One of the showers needed to be repaired and was handled by the owner promptly once they were notified. It was a great place to stay and will definitely rebook.

Not bad

Downstairs bathroom never had hot water. Flying bug issue around light fixture in same bathroom. Needs a little TLC outside. Take plastic wrap off patio chairs!

Great house and location

Family Wedding in Asheville

Perfectly located between the wedding venue, and the downtown area, yet nestled in a beautiful quiet area. Everything anyone would need, g And more, the massage chair.. WOW, complete onsuites, beautiful deck area and yard. We will be back, as well as many at the wedding we told about the location.

Nice property

The property was neat and clean however, we arrived after dark and it was difficult to find and was not lit up at all on the outside. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to find the front door, and, since it was raining when we arrived, the entry was slippery on the loose rocks and railroad ties for steps and had no outside lights to see this by. The light in the bathroom downstairs stopped working and we had to use the light in the laundry area to see by. Also, the step between the hall way is a little dangerous and several of our group tripped on it a number of times. It should be either leveled with a small ramp or marked. Luckily no one was hurt. Overall, it is a very nice place and served our needs splendidly.

Great location- quiet and comfortable

We had a fantastic stay! We were in Asheville for a wedding but had plenty of time to relax and explore. The house has several options for sitting back to relax in a quiet area. All of the places we wanted to go seemed to be within in a short drive. When we go back, we will be looking to stay here again.

Great location

Property was in a great location. Downtown Asheville was 10 minutes away. Everything was provided as stated. The One inch step up to the kitchen was a bit of a problem. Outdoor lighting could be improved as the steps are hard to see in the dark. Other than that, everything was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Asheville stay

We just loved Asheville and can't wait to return. The inside of the house was very clean and spacious enough for the five of us to be comfortable and not feel on top of each other. Communication with property manager was excellent. The house was further away from downtown and, thus, more secluded than expected based on description. Winding roads and down a gravel road created a bit more of a drive than we'd thought we'd have to get to town. But to be fair, we'd never been to Asheville and didn't know what to expect outside of downtown. Once away from the house, getting to hiking, restaurants and breweries, and other iconic tourism was easy to access. Thank you!

Dangerous

There are many obstacles, for example the little “step “ into the kitchen is very dangerous—stumbles and face plants from our group of seniors! The stairs to the second floor are really steep, too. The carpet is dirty. The location is good for a drive into Asheville. The house itself is okay, but the neighbors are very close.

Beautiful

The only problem was the house # on the house was 112. The house # on the website and confirmation was 229. They should have changed the # on the house with the upgraded addresses. Very confusing!
