"property looks old and tired. needs a deep cleaning. front desk staff struggled to find our reservation but it was there. breakfast buffet was nice and fresh. right off highway, was easy to find. easy drive to the nc zoo. we paid $200 and thats just insane for this property. "

"It’s typically understood that budget lodgings will not have certain amenities and luxuries available at other hotels. However, this was simply a disgraceful representation of affordable accommodations. The state of the room, was far below acceptable based on what was advertised in their photos. In addition to the devastated state of the room, the overwhelming smell of cleaning products, there was no sense of safety anywhere on the facility grounds. The stench of smoke wafting through the halls, the stained walls and unsanitary state of the stairwells was another mark against this location. In my room I found mold on the bathroom tiles, black and pink mold in the grout , around the toilet, buildup on the shower head. Leak stains in the ceiling that were never addressed and the stained linens on the bed further encouraged me to relinquish my keycard and find another place to stay. Management did not even TRY to offer a remedy to my qualms. They simply checked me out, 15 min after checking in, without question and kept the fee. No sense of pride in their facility or customer experience which is the most disgraceful part of this ordeal. I would not recommend this Location at all."

"Staff was friendly. Room smelled like stale smoke. The breakfast was not great. The waffle machine was empty, yogurt machine empty, orange juice was empty. A couple apples, no other fruit. I didn't have muffins but my English muffin was stale I through that out. The neighborhood is sketchy. There was a guy talking to himself and smoking crack in the parking lot. Another guy was taking all the cigarette butts out of the ashes trays and going through the garbages. There are locks on every door and the sheets and bathrooms were clean. It's sleepable but I feel like it should've been cheaper for the experience."

"In their defense property just changed hands. In desperate need of renovation. One of worst properties I’ve ever stayed at. Clean room but smelled musty. Outside door to upstairs in back which needs room key to open wouldn’t even close Security issue. Wyndham which had it as a Days Inn should be ashamed with they state it is in before turn in over to new owners last month. Would not stay here again"

"The hotel was clean and easy to get to from the highway. This was probably the best Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed in. Comfy beds! It was updated, clean, smelled good when you walked in. The breakfast was good and appreciated the yummy coffee! The only issue (which we didn't mention because we truly weren't there long enough) was the mold in the shower. We only used it to basically rinse off and we just put a washcloth over it."
