The hotel is very nice albeit tired in places. The staff were not trained, the receptionist had a very poor understanding of English. The waiters were not attentive, delivered wrong drinks when they finally did come over to serve. Having stayed at the Manor House and PennyHill park I had high expectations of this hotel being part of the same group.
I appreciate a hotel in central Surrey will be expensive but the room rate without breakfast was still high.
The room did not come with a fridge, which most hotels now provide.
The hotel kindly provided slippers on request but bathrobes were not provided.
Excellent stay worth upgrading to a Cool room and very good value to include two course meal package at the hotel. Have stayed here many times
Lovely setting ideal for Windsor and beauty spots.
This is a second time tostay at this hotel when attending the races. Service was exceptional taxi booked for us prior to arrival to take us to the race course. On booking in were delighted to find that we been upgraded to the best room in hotel. The Churchill Suite wow, made our day to stay in such luxurious surroundings of faded splendour. When enquired to find out why, we were ts if the room is not used then a random guest is choosen to be upgraded. What a fantastic customer service initiative.
Got to the hotel with my partner at 2am after a hectic day in london and couldnt quite believe just how beautiful the location , gardens and building was. The night porter showed us to our rooms and we were greeted to a coozy , clean and well look after room. In the morning we had a breakfast which tasted amazing and had a nice tour of the building. Will be coming back again !
What we thought would be a great quiet two nights ended up in two sleeplessnights due to two marriages with very loud music and guests till 3 am. So be wartned as they do not tell the booking site there are marriages so if your looking for a good night sleep this is not the hotel to go to...
The hotel was of a very good standard.
The room was large with a verbig queen bed.
Obviously under Covid some things had been removed.
I was not happy that not all the staff wore a mask in the hotel. I know it's not a legal requirement but most places are still wearing masks that we have been to.
The meals were of a very good standard and thete was plenty of space between tables.
Tje gardens of the hotel are huge and very well maintained.
All the staff were friendly anf helpful.
The bill at check out wax correct, not something that is usually correct at other hotels.
Overall a very enjoyable 3 night stay in a very intetesting part of England.
Staff were excellent.
Breakfast was basic and could have been better.
The extremely loud music from the all night 'rave' meant we couldn't enjoy a relaxing drink in the garden as the base was just ridiculously loud! We ended up having a drink in our room.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting
Unfortunately, on the hottest day of the year, the a/c was not working in our room making a good nights sleep impossible
We attended a wedding reception and other friends also reported the same issue
Amazing place to stay. However, on arrival bed had not been split into two twins as requested, so we had to wait in the corridor whilst it being split.
On departure there was an issue where the hotel requested payment although we had prepaid through hotels.com.they said hotels.com had not paid them! We left them to sort it out. All staff encountered were brilliant.

This hotel is in desperate need of a refurb. Had a classic room which had no air conditioning so the room was like an oven. The bed mattress was appalling old and soft, so it combined for the worst nights sleep I have had in years. The rooms are massively dated and need a massive refurb! Much better hotels in the area! Avoid!!!
Welcoming service given the dictionary pressure hotels must be under with COVID restrictions . Very polite and helpful.
Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked rather than a buffet which you get elsewhere.
The only issue we had was the sofa bed which the children said was extremely uncomfortable and every time you moved you could feel the springs underneath. As as adult I have slept on a sofa bed and had no issues so this was disappointing
