「As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. 「This place was absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff was friendly and sociable. Our first night, we enjoyed drinks and a pizza at the bar. Our second night, we took a dip in the hot tub. Breakfast was phenomenal, and the room was clean and comfortable. Zero complaints of any kind! My 10-year-old daughter, who is apparently a hotel connoisseur, told me it’s the best hotel she’s ever stayed in.」

「Our weekend stay at The Redstone was wonderful! The spacious room was perfect for two. It was great having the bathroom included with the room. We appreciated the large refrigerator and the snacks left for us to enjoy. The breakfasts, consisting of a hot dish and an amazing assortment of pastries, fruits, cereal and nuts were wonderful. Robert,the owner, was delightful and we loved hearing his stories of the mansion's history. We highly recommend The Redstone and can't wait to stay there again!」
