「This is a traditional motel and was perfect for my stay. Convenient for visiting the Sikh Temples and not too far from the town centre for shops and restaurants. The room had all the facilities needed for a 2 night stay and I was able to park directly outside my front door. Everything a motel should be.」

「Friendly check in. Clean room. Comfy bed. Walk to bistro for dinners. Food was plentiful. Would recommend.」

「We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The accom itself was outstanding value. Clean, spacious, well-fitted out. As my wife said, it’s rare when you arrive in a place and find it way better than the pictures seemed to indicate. Great spot.」

「Great fun for the kids. We were there for a basketball tournament and a lot of other families from the tournament were there so they all had fun together in the pool etc. The lobby is very grand and there's a good atmosphere about the place. The room was decent with comfortable beds, the bathroom had no issues and everything was clean. The wifi is unusable unfortunately and the TV had some issues with connection as well. Overall a great stay!」

「Coastal Bay Motel is good for a stop over between NSW and Queensland. Clean, conveniently located and friendly front desk. Sufficient for your basic needs. Walls a little thin so you can hear people taking outside your room.」

「Staff were very friendly. The mini tennis court was so much fun for us and our kids. It’s also very handy with the Oval and large grass space adjacent to the property.」

「This place would of been great 20 years ago but is very tide now… Our bathroom roof looks like it could have mould and the walls are paper thin… good location and friendly staff」

「We stayed just 1 night on our way from Gold Coast. It was a typical cabin in a holiday park with everything you need. There are 4 bank beds in one small room, so I don't know how 4 kids could fit there, but it was great for 1 kid. There is a small playground. Ocean beach is with high surf. Swimming in the river is tide dependent. There is a short walk to the head. There are a lot of guests with the dogs, as it is pet-friendly park.」
