"When we arrived, the manager was very friendly & helped Carrie bags to the room, as the lift was not working, he apologised for this, & told use, to call reception, if we needed any help, over the next 2 days, Which we did, On several occasions, as room was on 4th floor, Staff always responded to our, requests for help, in a friendly way, nothing was to much trouble, This is the 3rd time I've stayed here, last 2 occasions the lift was working, The aircon in the room, really helped, as there was a heat wave, the weekend of my stay, the staff have always been, friendly & helpful here, That's why I've booked my room again, for next year's convention."

"The room was lovely,clean and comfortable.The provision of a fan was much needed and made the night bearable in the heat. Breakfast was excellent,food freshly cooked and plentiful and the usual range of cereals, fruit and pastries. Lunch was delicious, again food was tasty but we were a party of 12,a pre- booked celebration , and some of us had almost finished our main course by the time other main courses had arrived and one person had to send their food back to be reheated. Service was a bit haphazard but the young staff serving us were friendly and trying to do their best. Sandwiches are not served after 5.00pm so if you want something light in the evening you need to go elsewhere We dined in the restaurant and had a Caesar salad and a pizza which were again very good and the staff pleasant and helpful."

"Good air con. Plenty of parking extra at rear. Clean room. Lots of light switches but only 1 worked. No shelf in shower to stand anything on. Taps in sink not enough height to get kettle access. Corridor lit very dim a bit creepy for ladies on their own. Price of drinks in bar were extortionate. Lots of cameras in bar ceiling I counted 9 at least. No intention of taking our own drink but felt like Stalag 13 with cameras watching everyone. The wedding was excellent but not a place I would visit again to regimental."
