"Check in procedure was diabolical. No clear signs, no clear idea what building to check into. People milling about with absolutely no idea where to go. We walked (no mean feat in the mountains) to one building as there were no signs on the building the email directed us to, and luckily, they found our booking, but we were at the wrong hotel. "Great functional apartment for a big group ski holiday. Perfect location with access by ski directly to all the major Arc 1800 lifts. There is also easy access back and forth to the town until late in the evening with the Dahu lift. And for those interested, it is less than a minute to ski back from La Folie Douce. JF is very responsive and accommodating. There is access to a sauna, and we were even able to make raclette at home one evening using the machines in the apartment."

"This was a good value apartment, well equipped and with easy access to the slopes. It was a short walk (about 200 yards) to get on the slopes to ski down to the gondola lift and you could ski back to the apartment block. We had originally booked it for 9 adults but it was maybe as well that only 5 of us came. 3 of the bunk beds would have been rather small for adults so it's really only suitable for 2 couples and 3 additional adults plus 3 children unless you used the sofa bed in the lounge for...

"We had a wonderful stay at Sharon’s place. I can see why she, as a host, is so highly rated. Sharon took care of everything which came up and was very helpful. The location is superb, literally steps from the lift with a great view. Beautifully fitted out flat, with access to conveniences just steps away. "

"We booked a 2 bedrooms apartment for the 3 of us. The apartment was spacious and nice view on the mountain. We had 2 bathroom which was great but unfortunately 1 of the heater was not functioning for half our stay so it was really cold to take a bath and we had to complain several times before they replaced the towels heater. They obviously knew the issue as they already ordered a new one. They never offered any compensation or to move us in another apartment. The ski room was super smelly and congested especially in the morning. That it was at the point I was feeling nauseous. Another downside was the spa area, way too small for the amount of guests. Only one small Hot tub always full. The sauna was super crowded that it made it impossible to use and same with the steam room that wasn't even hot enough and the eucalyptus was so strong it would make your eyes watering. So we only went once as it was not enjoyable. At Les Arcs 1800 there is almost nothing beside the residence and the hotel. Just 1 small Spar. For shopping, bars, restaurants you have to take the Dahu Lift that connect to Les Arcs 1600. We also drove to Les Arcs 1950 (about 20 min drive but totally worth it. Les Arcs 1950 is such a nice resort. Overall experience was okay but we won’t probably go back to this place."

"Thank you JF for a wonderful stay. This is a fantastic apartment in a great location - ski-in /ski-out makes such a difference. Close to shops, bars & restaurants. Ski area is varied and good for all abilities. We were two families, which worked really well with the layout of the apartment. Lovely spacious family area for dinners in with games! Only improvement would be clearer instructions for finding / accessing the apartment on arrival. Would recommend!"
