"The Red Fox Ridge was just what we needed! I brought the family down to visit the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum and Cincinnati Zoo the cabin was perfectly located for this. The historic feel and country setting is unique and quiet. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The cabin was well equipped for cooking our meals, making s’mores and roasting hot dogs. We walked the creek and grounds nightly, didn’t see a red fox but plenty of turkeys and a few deer . We enjoyed the games both outdoors and indoors. We will definitely return and plan to recommend to anyone coming to the area.Thank you for opening you family home to us."

"This was an amazing place!! I've stayed at a lot of places, but none were as clean or provided the extra amenities such as coffee (3 types of coffee machines) creamers, etc. They also provided fire wood for the fire pit. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the recliners and the couch. The owners were easy to reach and very friendly. The driveway was fine, I did appreciate them telling us that it was a little steep, but we didn't have any problems at all. The outside string lights were a plus as well! It was perfect! Book it!"

"This hotel is disgusting! Hotels.com you should not recommend this place. It is not as described. Booked an accessibility room and they said they dont have those and when asked why they listed them she didnt know. So we ended up in a 2 double bed room. It was totally trashed and it didnt even have a waste basket. It was a 4 person room with only 3 pillows and they were old and disgusting. Lots of patched holes. Filthy carpet lumpy old beds broken furniture the chair in the non smoking room had a chunk torn out and cigarette burns. No microwave when one was listed on the room i booked. The room smelled terrible. We only got 1 towel and washcloth and they were stained. Told the desk how bad it was and they said "yeah we are working on remodeling but that room wasnt one yet. So why am i paying full price if you know the room is bad? No offer of a discount no apology. Just a yeah we know its bad. And that it should be remodeled in the next year. Save your money and piece of mind. "

"Much older hotel overlooking the Ohio River in need of remodeling- this is the ONLY complaint. Front desk above and beyond helpful during a snow storm. Will stay again. "
