"The rooms were spacious and clean, the view was beautiful, staff were friendly and the food at the hotel restaurant was very nice, also a dip in the swimming
pool in the hot afternoon was relaxing.
There is a beautiful temple only 5 minutes walking from the hotel. The only thing maybe inconvenient is that there is no other restaurant available around the hotel.
We enjoyed every minute staying at this hotel and would love to revisit again."

"This is a very well designed place. We have stayed in newer, more modern hotels but this was by far the most comfortable. First shower in Vietnam not to soak the whole bathroom. The
pool is nice, breakfast was very good and we had a beautiful view of the river junctions.
The surrounding area is great and the people in Chau Doc super friendly and welcoming.

"There is a great write up in the recent Lonely Planet Guide about Murray Guesthouse being a wonderful addition to the Chau Doc accommodation options... a great guest lounge, roof terrace, bar, pool table and great breakfast. Sadly no longer... none of these exists! Instead we had a poor welcome, accusing us of having cancelled, the bedside lights didn't work, our friend had no toilet paper or a toilet that flushed. It is very cheap to stay there and it is clean, but that is it."
