「Beautiful setting on a lake next to the sea. Each evening, we were treated to a parade of cruise ships coming and going from St John's harbor. Small wildlife was everywhere, day and night. We had issues with wifi which were server related but frustrating and most inconvenient Property very secure with entry in gate with padlock and double keyed locks on front and back doors. 「Driftwood Cottage provided the perfect Caribbean escape. Set behind a lovely pool in Sarah's magical garden, the rustic cottage is truly a departure from the usual day-to-day. Sleeping under netting in the beautiful antique bed and listening to the birds and frogs gave us a true taste of island life. 「One think is good to pay attention to prior arrival. Is access road is difficult you need 4x4 or brave driver. Air con just in one main bedroom which wasn't issue for me but if i wanted to use both bedrooms would be problematic. I was happy there by myself nice remote location.」

All requests were dealt with promptly. The view from this property high on the hill in Falmouth across English Harbour is amazing from the veranda, the upstairs balcony & the infiniti pool. 「This is a lovely relaxing place away from the crowds overlooking Galleon beach and you have your own private balcony with a stunning view. It is a charming place and kept very clean and well maintained. A romantic hideaway if I weren’t sharing with my sister! Nathan and Clare were fantastic hosts, very responsive and accommodating for our arrival a little later than originally planned. This place is a great find and well represented in the pictures and description.」

「Although initially not impressed as the location was rather smaller than viewed on the web we then realised that although the property was dated it was clean and comfortable. The ambience however was great and it is really unique in the sense that nothing else can be founds like it on the Island. 「Our hosts were wonderful, the property was beautifully situated with an elevated view of Galleon Beach and English Harbor in a garden-like setting with bullfinches and banaquats friendly and interested. Just off of the property is a premier snorkeling beach, with nightlife on the beachfront.
