A perfect stay

Amazing hospitality! Every detail of the room was thoughtful and comfortable. Bedding, towels, temperature, every detail was perfect. The breakfasts were delicious and so much variety was provided. Conversations with others staying were a highlight and this was all made possible thanks to a generous and thoughtful host who facilitated such gatherings. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

Beautiful B@B, hosts were exceptional, friendly, helpful, a joy to stay here. Breakfast is out of this world. I have travelled and stayed in hotels, B@Bs in Europe Canada USA and Mexico, none of them beats Hilltop B@B in Digby. Will be back next time I venture this way. Thanks .

Henry and Linda are fabulous hosts and their home is both welcoming and charming with all the comforts of home. They are very knowledgeable of the area, places to eat and local attractions. Henry is a wonderful chef and our breakfasts would be something found on a menu of fine dining! Where would you get eggs Benny topped with scallops!? We were spoiled! We will highly recommend this place!

We cannot say enough good things about this B&B, the house has been beautifully restored, the decor is lovely, the rooms are outstandingly comfortable and modern, the ensuite bathroom was great, the hosts were so gracious and friendly, we learned a lot about Digby and the history of the home the b&b is located in. They provided great recommendations on things to see and do based on our interests which we could never have found in a tourist guide. There is a beautiful verandah with seating off the dining room with a spectacular view of the Digby waterfront and harbour. The breakfast was gourmet quality and perfectly prepared. Our hosts helped us secure a dinner reservation at the Crow’s Nest seafood restaurant, which helped us avoid a line up to get a table. We wished we had booked a few nights instead of just one, the Hillside B&B is a destination unto itself.

This place hits the sweet spot between maintaining original Victorian character and providing 21st century comfort and convenience. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished with a clean, updated bathroom. Jenn was a delightful hostess, and the breakfast provided by Lisa was delicious and served in a lovely setting. This has to be one of the nicest, if not THE nicest B&B we've ever stayed in. It's also just up the (steep) hill from the center of Digby with its shops, restaurants, and marina. I'd say it's worth a trip to Digby just to enjoy this spot.
