9 Ingram Road

Summary:

You will be blown away with the quality of the renovations in this beautiful holiday home.

The Space:

The entrance of this property opens into the living area and the great big wood fired heater that is going to keep you toasty warm on those chilly winter nights. As you move through the house and into the kitchen you will enjoy the neutral tones, stone benchtops and high gloss polished wood floors giving the house a real sense of style and comfort. The combined kitchen/dining open out onto the north facing deck that has a wonderfully scenic outlook over the wetlands, and is truly the most relaxing spot for a barbeque or a glass of wine as you listen to the evening birdsong and wonder as the local kangaroos come down in the evening to graze. The property has 2 bedrooms, with the second of the two boasting a set of bunks and two single beds. The bedroom also has their own television, perfect for keeping the kids occupied in the evenings. There is a family bathroom which is bright and airy and overlooks the back yard. The bathroom has internal access, but can also be accessed via an external door, perfect to move those sandy little feet into the shower without walking through the entire house to do so. Ingram Street is set in the River precinct of Anglesea and is a quiet part of the township. There are many beautiful walking tracks through the park that will lead you into town as well as lots of lovely spots to picnic or barbeque at one of the free barbeques in the park. If you like to kayak or stand up paddle board, there's plenty of river for you to explore.

Great little house in a fabulous location!

We really enjoyed our stay at 9 Ingram Road. The house was well set up for a family with a lovely big kitchen and plenty of cooking equipment. The glorious bush and river views from the deck made for a perfect getaway. We walked everywhere - to the beach, the shops and around the river and heath walking tracks. The very comfortable bed was a huge bonus! We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Lovely place to stay

It is a lovely house in a great location, close to the beach and shops. We enjoyed our stay and would book again, but price is comparable to other properties where linen and cleaning are provided. We didn't get to use the deck as it was cold, the wood heater came in very handy.

A fabulous hideaway

In a perfect location minutes from the centre of Anglesea, but tucked away with wonderful privacy and a lovely outlook across trees and wetlands. The cottage is snug and has been renovated to provide good quality contemporary facilities including bathroom, kitchen, laundry etc. It was a cold weekend when we stayed, and the wood heater definitely needed additional help from the split system air con/heater but the cottage heated up well. Electric blankets were very welcome! It has everything we needed to self cater, and the bed was very comfortable. The deck provided fabulous views and friendly local birdlife. Highly recommended for a couple or small family group.
