"We visited July of 2025 had a fantastic adventure. We were looking for some time to exhale, break from the chaos of the city, and the commercialism of most destinations. Found it! Andros, the people, and property were all amazing and were just what we were looking for! slow pace, non commercialized, very authentic eco Bahamas.Stephen was great to communicate with on planning our trip and logistics. Make time to talk with him. His guidance made our trip. Helped us with everything we needed. Had a couple days of flyfishing with guide Solomon Murphy..epic bonefish at Joulters and West Side. Joulters is a bucket list, "bonefish capital of the world". DO IT. I highly highly recommend Solomon. We spent some time with Charlie and had a blast. We snorkeled, grilled lobster, conch ceviche, fresh coconuts and mangos.... and cold Kahliks! It was Andros Ragatta week / Bahamian Independence Day (July 10) so joined the party and the food! Hung out with Kizzy and Jay at Below Deck..one of my new favorite places! We truly adventured around the island. Blue Holes, Andros town, Red Bay, Androsia. Pleasant Dreams was a perfict fit. clean, offered what we needed, location was quiet, beach and bay are amazing. I learned many stories about the history, met many amazing people and fell in love with the waters around Andros. It was in my list to visit the bonefish capital of the world, but Andros is so much more. 10/10 we will return!Jason and PaulaVirginia"
"We spent a week on Sunset point houseboat and already can’t wait to return! The house is exactly as described, an older house boat with lots of charm and amazing views from every bedroom. The snorkeling under the house is excellent. Ride the tides down to the shipwreck and explore all the fish swimming around in the big rusty steel hull and you will not be disappointed. You’re in very convenient distance to the airport and the town of fresh Creek. The hosts live right next-door behind trees, and they were helpful, but not intrusive at all. Keeping in touch by text was very easy if we had any questions. It was a great time chatting with them and hearing about the island — super cool couple. Peter is also an accomplished chef and made us the best anniversary meal. I highly recommend a meal from him during your stay.A few things to consider before booking this place, this is not a luxury accommodation, it is humble and comfortable and practical. Be sure to bring lots of bug repellent and sunscreen as it’s hard to come by them on the island. The a/c in the bedrooms is excellent, while you enjoy the breezes and multiple fans in the public areas. Every room has its own porch and they’re pretty private from each other. We saw tons of fish just watching with binoculars from the upper level. Unique! Also if you are a dog person, you will be in heaven because the owners have a very sweet dog, Honey who will hang out with you as much as you like. I cried when I had to hug her goodbye. "
Tranquility Blue: Private island experience. 20 yards from ocean.
10/10 Excellent
"Great kitchen, good beds. If you want to lay around in a lovely setting, catch bonefish (with guide), snorkel, spear fish (Hawaiian sling only), eat great Bahamian fish stew (Deanna’s), this is the place. Laid back wonderful community of Bahamians, this location, right on theMiddle Bught of Andros Island, is 15-20 minutes to good bone fishing. The fabulous westside of Andros is only 45 minutes away, unlike the Behring Point-Cargill Creek area, which is an hour and 45 minutes away from the west side by boat. Highly recommended."
"Great location on the edge of the sea. Well supplied, quite spacious. Convenient parking space. Good owner comms. Helpful. Would happily stay again. "
"What an amazing throw back trip.
I grew up going to my parents house on mangrove cay.
Many things have changed and many thing are the same!
My daughter, husband and my grandchildren loved every minute!
We swam, snorkeled and slowed down to island life behavior!
Any negatives were manageable….we needed a decent broom to keep up with the sand coming in😀!
There was very limited cleaning stuff for us to clean up after cooking etc.
Overall, I would return tomorrow if I. Old!
Finn…..thank you for this wonderful opportunity!
I will send pics when I get organized!
Enjoy your heaven on earth!
Fondly,
Karen
