BRING THE BOAT! You have access to the neighborhood boat ramp and our dock is included with the rental.

Welcome to "Watersedge" on Beautiful Lake Hartwell with Newly Renovated Bathrooms and A BRAND NEW HOT TUB!! This pet friendly lake house sleeps 14 in beds (queen air mattress available for 2 additional guests). Our property is perfect for 3 average sized families, a multi-generational vacation, or a friend get-away. The master bedroom has a private bathroom, king bed, twin day-bed, and trundle for little ones that like to be close to mom or dad.

Walk onto the back deck just steps from the bed and catch a lake sunrise. The main level also has two lovely, queen bedrooms; one with a brand new en-suite full bath (Queen BR #2) and a shared hall full bath, fully furnished, eat-in kitchen, formal dining room and large yet cozy living room. Older kids will love the bunk room (sleeps 6) in the basement and their personal rec room complete with ping pong, air hockey, and a variety of board games. The rec room also has a full size fridge for extra food and beverages. An additional living area and bathroom complete the basement.

Outdoor living? You bet! This house has that too. With a screened porch on the main level and remote - controlled awning on the upper deck, no need to run inside when the afternoon thunderstorms roll in. The lower deck has additional seating and a hammock perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake. The hot tub is located on the lower deck.

Bringing your own boat? The neighborhood boat ramp is less than 100 yards from our personal dock.

This cove is a stone’s throw to big water so boaters won’t waste daylight traveling to open water for their favorite sports. Water Toys Included with the rental: 2 Kayaks, 2 Kid Size Kayaks, 1 Canoe and 1 Paddleboat. A short 20-minute drive to Clemson with grocery and pharmacies about 5 minutes away, you can be close to the action of college football weekends with the peace and serenity of lake life.

Home schooling? E-learning to complete? Working on vacation? Free Wi-Fi available. But we’d encourage you to pause the technology for a morning of fishing and a family ping pong tournament in the evening.

PET POLICY: Our lake home is pet friendly to dogs under 80lbs. If you are bringing more than 2 furry friends please confirm during booking! We do charge a one time $150 pet fee.

All of our TVs are smart equipped with Roku functionality. The YouTube TV and Hulu apps are loaded but if you want live TV you will need to bring your own login for these services. (You can sign up for a free trial using your email address.)

Fantastic stay on Lake Hartwell; the house is equipped with everything you would need and the location is very convenient to Shopping and the interstate. The dock is the place to be sunrise to sunset. Beautiful, walkable neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Great stay!!

This house was perfect for hosting family for our daughter’s Clemson graduation! Plenty of space and the deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the lake. The host was very helpful and communicative, which made our stay so relaxing. Would stay here again!

Hartwell Vacation Spot

This property was as advertised. House was clean and fully functional. We kept two boats at the dock which had electricity on the dock. Great access to some of the best fishing and recreational areas on the lake. I would stay there again.

Great house, Great location, Great dock, Great view, Great time! ALL beds comfy, towels plentiful, seating arrangements perfect, kitchen area big enough for big family! Sunset every night, fishing and swimming off the dock everyday, lake is stunning…We loved our visit and so happy we chose this house! Tom is a wonderful host with great communication.

We are a group of women who travel to the fifty states and we stayed here for our South Carolina stay. The home was everything they said. The kitchen had all that we needed and more, which was really appreciated! (I am talking dishes, flatware, glasses, cups, pans, pots, sm appliances, EVERYTHING!). The house was clean with the exception of a few corners that had been overlooked, and a shower curtain that needed to be washed or replaced. The kayaks and canoes they allow you to use are so fun! I kayaked for the first time at 70 years old! The beds were comfortable, and the furniture layout worked well for us. We loved the closed in porch and the second porch in the back that overlooked the lake…All in all a most delightful time was had by all! Thank you for being great hosts.

Perfect lake house

We had an amazing weekend. Tom was very attentive and easy to work with and very gracious with the check in and out. The house has everything you could possibly need for a fun lake weekend. We had lots of space with an upper and lower living area. The dock was nice and tucked in a cove so there were no boat waves or traffic. The neighborhood boat launch next door was a huge perk. Thanks again.

Great lake house for family reunions

Awsome location and house

This house was great for our large family. There are so many comfy chairs and nooks that we were not on top of each other. There were lots of towels , blankets and pillows. This is rare for a rental home. The hot tub was so relaxing. We will be back!

We have been visiting the Clemson area for a few years now and Tom’s lake house is our favorite place away from home. The house has all we need and everything is clean and updated. Tom is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Can’t wait to return !

A lakehouse that felt like home

We found the home to be exactly like the pictures in the listing. There were plenty of water toys available and the dock was a great place to hang out and swim from. We especially liked the fire pit. We are already talking about renting the same place next August.

Clean and comfortable

The house was clean, which we appreciated very much. The screened-in porch was awesome; we spent all evenings there, and the views are very nice—it feels like you are in a treehouse. The listing said there were hairdryers, but I couldn't find one in any of the bathrooms. Overall, it was a great stay!

We had 13 adult family members together for Thanksgiving at this home. We had a wonderful time together - the house was perfect for large gatherings for meals, games, and conversation. Tom was super responsive and generous with our check in time.

Perfect Framily Weekend Away

Our group of 6 adults and 8 children had an absolute blast at this amazing property! This house is in a great quiet location, super spacious with a nice layout, and kid friendly. Overall a great place to stay! The dock and water toys were a huge benefit - we used everything all weekend! Easily one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. We’ve already decided this is going to be a yearly tradition! Thank you for letting us make such special memories at your property!

Family Spring Break with a Fishing Tournament

The house is very nicely updated and stocked. Our 5 and 8 year old really enjoyed the downstairs area and we all enjoyed the nice hot tub. The covered dock is great and the location is very close to Green Pond Landing which was great for putting our boat in and fishing a bass tournament while we were there; also plenty of driveway length for parking a truck with a trailer. It is a bit of a steep walk between the house and the dock but that looks to be pretty common in this area of the lake. The kid sized kayaks were nice to have and the pocket is nice and calm off of the main lake. Tom communicated very well and was extremely responsive. There was plenty of room for us, our kids, and grandparents and plenty of plates, cups, utensils, etc. It's also very conveniently located to grocery stores, tackle shops, and more. Thank you for the nice spring break stay!

Nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Beautiful home that is warm and inviting with spectacular water views. Very clean, spacious, with lots of activities both inside and out. Great location, easy to navigate to and close to grocery stores and shopping. Owner's communication was great and although we had no issues or questions during our stay I have no doubt he would have addressed them immediately. Check-in/ check-out procedures very simple and he even allowed us to check in early if needed. We can't wait to come back and I highly recommend this home.

Great fit for our family

We had a great time. House was spacious enough we weren't on top of each other but still had privacy. Loved the gas range! Shopping and medical facilities close. Our biggest problem was the steepness of the hill down to the water. My husband and sister would not have been able to go to the water. We just packed up what we needed for the afternoon and only came back up the hill to eat! We want to come back next year
