Facility was advertised as newly renovated hotel. Not only was the hotel not renovated the furnishings in our room were old, worn out and beat up. The only thing relatively new was the television. Mattresses and box springs were falling apart. Towel rack and bath faucet were beat up and obviously not renovated. Carpeting and paint were old and showing their age. Heater was unplugged upon our arrival and the temperature of the room was 58 degrees. To be fair the maintenance person came to the room immediately to address the heat issue. Possibly other floors of the hotel were renovated and this floor (bottom floor) is where this facility puts customers that reserve their respective room off of Expedia. Upon check out the front staff person was more engaged with a personal conversation with an individual than assisting me with my checkout. Needless to say we won't be back to this facility.

I rarely post a poor review but this hotel had no heat, and the neighborhood is famously bad with lots of homelessness and theft. Many many hotels exist in Anchorage, at all price points. This one needs some attention.

Location is great for an overnight stay close to the airport. However, the facility shows a lot of wear-and-tear and could benefit from some upkeep. The staff was friendly and helpful. But this hotel does not feel like a Wyndham Garden.

We moved to another room coz the shower drainage was clogged and when I asked front desk about the problem she said they can't do anything coz maintenance only works day time, but I really asked them hard to do something until she moved us. But we found the new room bathroom smells pee, curtain was yellow, bathroom floor was sticky, unwiped sink, unvaccumed carpet, and beddings not properly arranged with a lot of hair.

Paid $30 for early check in and there was no room available as it still needed to be cleaned. When I let the receptionist know that we paid the $30 fee to be able to check early. She went to say there was still no room available until I stated I paid that fee, then there was a room available. We were on the first level, walked down the stairs and it smelled like weed and cigarettes. Then we we got to our room, my husband went to use the bathroom and went to dry his hands and the towel he grabbed had make up all over it. They had rolled up a dirty towel to make it seem clean. The bed was made and when we went to pull the blankets off there were crumbs and stains. The pillowcase had like sweat stains on them? We left immediately and were told they couldn’t check us out until the manager was in and he would he in at 4pm. We went back at 6pm and were told he doesn’t come in that late he will be in at 8 am in the morning the next day. We went the next day and he was not available, but we were able to get him on the day we were supposed to be checked out. He was very helpful and was apologizing.

There was homeless people hiding in the stairwells. Trash laying around out side the building. did not go to the breakfast. over all the inside is starting to show its age. It appears that under privileged people living in the rooms and their kids were very noisy jumping on the beds and bouncing balls and running up and down the hallway.

There was not enough parking for handicap in fact there was not enough parking for anyone the staff were not super accommodating or polite The room was clean the bed was comfortable but the carpet was gross with stains and in the morning when leaving there were several homeless people wandering the parking looking in vehicles and trying the doors to see if they could get in and going through the cigarette ashes looking for butts

Rooms had a bunch of mold around the tables and a bad smell. We moved 2 times and then decided not to stay. The hotel staff told us we needed to contact Expedia for the refund. We contacted Expedia and they contacted the hotel and they denied our refund. Overall a once decent hotel is now a dump.

The room was disgusting and so was the entire hotel. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was some unknown substance on the walls above the bed, the linens were heavily stained, and the ceiling clearly had heavy water damage. On top of that, when we were checking in there was a potentially homeless man in the entry drinking out of a plastic liquor bottle. Not to mention the area itself is generally seedy and the hotel did not have adequate security. The staff was friendly at least so it’s the owner that needs to stop cheaping out on the cleaning.

1. Upon arrival we were sent to a remote room on the third floor far to the rear of the property. In the room, it superficially looked like housekeeping had it ready. When we looked again we found human hair in the bathtub. That sent us to look at the beds. The white sheets and cover had very numerous stains, including red blood or lipstick stains on the top fold of a top sheet where my teenager immediately declared she refused to lie down. That sent us to the other bed, where I found debris — looked like some broken pine needles — around a pillow. I pulled the top sheet down and was shocked to find a lot — A LOT — of what seemed to be food debris and crumbs including dark poppy seeds smack in the middle of the bed. Had this bed not been changed. We also found food crumbs on two table surfaces in the room. We trekked with luggage back to the desk where we were sent to a ground floor room not far from the front lobby that was clean enough to meet expectations for an older, discount property. We also found the man and woman operating the front desk strangely sullen and silent for people in the hospitality trade. When I arrived, I said hello to the desk clerk but got no reply and no facial response. I could not hear anything the male desk clerk said to me and I had to keep asking him to repeat himself. The pair answered my questions about a 4:15 am airport shuttle, with helpful information. The hotel has a dedicated shuttle and driver. 5 out of 5 there.

very rundown property. Very dirty my sheets did not appear to be washed. There was hair on my pillowcase dirt and grime in the corners of the bathroom hair in the bathroom drain homeless people in the lobby fighting with the staff felt very unsafe and unclean will never stay here again.

Rooms were decent but bedding wasn't clean or changed. Shower was leaking water the whole time wasn't able to plug the tub for a bath for my toddler. Morning staff are lazy had been left on hold for 1hr for reservations confirmation. Tv reception was crappy couldn't connect to wifi or connect my phone to.the tv for movies to watch. Sketchy homeless people everywhere inside and outside. Pool was freezing cold to swim in, no towels in the pool area. $30 to have your cat or dog per night. Breakfast was edible but not that great. The heater was blowing cold n hot all night long so i couldn't get comfortable. When we started to pack and leave i took the sheets off the bed and found dirty towels under the sheets found asock as well. The room had a musty smell to it as well. Through Expedia the price was worth the stay. Id give this hotel a 2.5 star rating they could do better. Staff could have been more polite and actually do as their required to do for the jobs it'd be a better stay.

The rooms were filthy and the heater had a constant gas smell to the. The headboards were torn, stains on the floors, spills left on the dressers. The hall was smelled of smoke and weed. The staff was not professionally dressed and honestly not super friendly.

Everything seems to be broken..... laundry- no clean towels. Front door, heat, credit card machine, fob entrance to back door and shuttle all broken. Additionally there was dried vomit on the floor. And someone being arrested in the lobby.
