Alaska Windflower Escape

Summary:

Not just the basics! Extensive cookware, appliances, spices, extra towels, and sheets! Bathroom essentials and fans in both bedrooms. Bedrooms have black out curtains for your restful nights! NEW beds! A great private back deck with seating and grill in a nicely wooded scene. Professional mosquito spray treatment to stay bug free! This is the place to be comfortable on your travels!



The Space:

This is a ranch style duplex that has been updated and remodeled. A great space for 4 people. Stocked kitchen with dining space inside and outside! A small desk space for remote workers. TV with apps and Wifi is available as well. The owners live on the other side of the duplex, but Carolyn our property manager will be in touch with you for everything you need!



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the unit by front door private keycode access and access to the yard and deck space located in the private wooded back yard.



The Neighborhood:

The duplex is located in midtown, about 1 minute from the highway. This is the best and easiest access for getting everywhere in town and heading out of town! Slightly tucked away on the end of a street in a cul-de-sac which is quiet and away from traffic.

A perfect stay

Alaska Windflower Escape was a perfect place to stay while visiting some family who live in Anchorage. The location was convenient to town yet quiet. The home was clean and well kept. All of the needed supplies were present, as well as some extras that one might not expect (spices, etc. in the kitchen, for example). We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Quiet, clean rental

We enjoyed our stay with 2 young children. The house was equipped with all basic necessities and was a wonderful, relaxing vacation home to come back to every day. I recommend for families.

Perfect and peaceful

Great Stay in Anchorage

This townhouse was exactly as described in the listing and was an awesome base for our trip. Quiet neighborhood right off the Seward Highway and close to everything. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Communications with the host was quick and easy. Great find and one we will use again.

Great little home base!

My dad and I stayed here during a quick trip to visit Anchorage. It was a great location, but not walkable to anything. Convenient for driving. Convenient to airport. Clean and the homeowner was awesome. Super communicative and accommodating.

Anchorage getaway

We stayed for 10 days. Everything was neat and clean. The best part was the stocked essentials which I haven’t found at many other properties. I loved that I didn’t have to buy coffee, dishwasher detergent or laundry soap. It was a quiet neighborhood within 10 minutes of restaurants and downtown. We loved staying here!

Central location convenient to everything in Anchorage.

My experience with this property was seamless. When I arrived I was concerned the location might be noisy but it was quite the opposite. Clean, neat, and everything worked as it should. Host made sure my stay was going well. I would definitely stay again.

Good Stay

This is a two bedroom duplex. There is a dedicated parking spot and a private entrance. The property is in a culdesac deep in a neighborhood so it’s quiet but it takes a bit to drive through the neighborhood. The place is clean and well furnished with a good kitchen. We spent some time just hanging out and found it very comfortable.

Just as described in the listing. Quiet, out of the way location yet easy access to the highway and main roads. Well-stocked kitchen & bath. Inviting furniture and COMFY beds/bedding. A notebook with information, FAQs, and an inclusive list of local area amenities was provided. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a beautiful place. Enjoyed the stay. One suggestion, it might be advsntageous to consider the elderly with mobility issues with the steps. Otherwise all is well. Tbe tefrigerator door opens backwards. Ot easly to maneiver when opening with food in or out.

3 days in Anchorage

We stayed only 3 nights I. This unit but loved it. It was roomy, lean, quiet, warm, tastefully furnished and they provided everything you’d need (paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, coffee, filters, creaMer, sugar, lots of backing pans and utensils. You will not go wrong staying here. Thank you for such a nice place.
