Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "The property was lovely and comfortable with good sound proofing as it was on the main route through the town. Essential amenities were on the doorstep but there were a number of houses and business premises ‘for sale’ indicative of a declining community. This said, it was a good holiday with friendly locals and a good base for exploring the Orne/La Perche region."
