A strong sense of wilderness runs through this traditional hunting lodge, where timber floors and ceilings, rustic furnishings and hunting trophies create an unmistakably woodland character. The living space invites quiet evenings together, especially when the fireplace is lit after a day outside. Completely secluded in the mountain forest near Åmotsbruk, the lodge has its own lake, a jetty and a veranda overlooking the water. A boat is included, and the fish-rich lake offers opportunities to catch pike from either the boat or the jetty. Spring water comes directly from a mountain source, reinforcing the back-to-nature experience. Outdoors, guests can cook on the grill and murikka or retreat to the wood-fired sauna tucked into the forest. The surrounding conservation area is genuine Scandinavian wilderness, with wildlife including moose and wolves, while forest walks and peaceful days beside the lake offer an immersive escape into nature.
