"We recently stayed at Barceló, and overall, it was a memorable experience. I'm writing this review specifically for travelers who, like me, like to know what to expect before arriving. Beyond simply rating the resort, I wanted to provide practical information that may help with planning, from accommodations and dining to transportation, activities, and a few things to consider before your trip. I'll highlight both the positives and areas where knowing what to expect ahead of time can make your stay more enjoyable. One of the things that stood out to us was how friendly and helpful the staff were throughout our stay. The swim-up bar was also a nice spot to relax and enjoy the day. I was especially impressed by how much work goes into maintaining the resort. The staff are constantly working behind the scenes to keep everything clean and well cared for, and their hard work definitely shows."

"Absolutely breathtaking ocean and mountain view from our room! We swam in the pool that has a full view of the mountains & ocean. You can ever so slightly hear the locals playing music on the radio at the beach and see the small fishing boats coming in and out. Loved the location. Very peaceful and serene. No outside noise inside our rooms. Direct beach access through the back by the pool area. Plenty of local restaurants, convenience stores (oxxo) & a gas station within minutes. The kids and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back! Already planning the next trip."

"This place is AMAZING!!! Corrales Bay Resort exceeded our expectations. The views are unreal, the rooms are beautiful. The food was authentic and delicious. We snorkeled right off the dock and saw so many species of fish, the water was very clear. There are great hikes around the resort. I would definitely recommend hiking to the lighthouse. The sandy beaches were great. We rented 4 wheelers and explored other local towns and beaches. We also paddle boarded, kayaked, fished, and rented jet skis. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The staff was incredible. The boat ride to and from the resort was a fun experience. Highly recommend 12 out of 10. We will definitely be back."

"This was our third visit and we LOVED our stay. We were in Saturno room and the bed was super comfortable and the room was immaculate. The staff is amazing. We enjoyed pool drinks and a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic AND included in the stay. We will be back!"

"AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good. The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!"
