Terra Verde Oia by K&K

"The hotel is nice, newly renovated, and very well located in Oia. The location was definitely one of the best parts of our stay, as it was within easy walking distance of the center and everything we wanted to visit. The rooms, however, are quite small and the amenities are very basic. One thing to keep in mind is that the windows don’t have shutters or any kind of protective barrier, and since they are easily accessible from outside, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving them open at night. We had to keep them completely closed, which made the room feel a little stuffy. We also had an issue with the bathroom drainage. While showering, the water didn’t drain properly and would start accumulating on the bathroom floor. Another important point is the view. Although the hotel is located in Oia, it does not have the typical sea/caldera view that many people associate with hotels in the area. It faces more toward the town/road side, so this is worth knowing before booking. Parking was also a challenge. We had to find parking elsewhere and then walk to the hotel, which can be inconvenient with large or heavy luggage, although this seems to be quite common in Oia. Overall, it’s a nice and renovated hotel with an excellent location, but there are a few practical details worth considering depending on what you’re looking for from your stay in Santorini."

"Lava Stone was such a beautiful stay! Kira was absolutely amazing and helped us with everything we needed. Our room was gorgeous, and the view was honestly breathtaking. We didn’t even realize we’d be staying right at the harbour, and it ended up being the perfect location. So many of the restaurants we wanted to try were literally just a few steps away! If you’re planning a trip to Santorini, I highly recommend staying here. The location, views, room and hospitality were all amazing."

"Incredible View and Breakfast. Our room was 88 steps from the top , but the hotel staff brought our luggage . The transfers from the port and to the airport were seamless . It’s quite private but only steps away from all the action .. hot tub was only warm and the jets were not very strong , but nice in the morning sun . I’m assuming because it was a cave room , each day there would be small white particles on everything .. I would choose it again!"

"Property was located overlooking the sea. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the mornings were excellent and our server Nicoletta she was amazing she had the most amazing personality. The hot tub in the room created the perfect atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this location. My wife and I got there Friday night same and was able to do plate smashing same night at the restaurant. Overall we had an amazing experience."
