Amity Flats #1: Jory Flat
Jory is the state soil of Oregon and can be found nearby in the Dundee Hills AVA. The Jory Flat, our flagship suite at Amity Flats, proudly takes its name from this rich, red soil. In fact, each of our flats is named after a soil type found in the vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley. Just east of town is the beautiful Eola-Amity Hills, home to more than 30 outstanding wineries and dozens of gorgeous vineyards. Below the flats is The Bramble, Silas Wines' tasting room, or walk across the street to Coelho Winery. A short drive or easy bike ride away is the inspirational Antica Terra winery or, visit the monastery of the Brigittine monks to sample some of their award-winning chocolates.
Where Jory now sits, the local Masonic Lodge once gathered over a century ago, holding meetings on a large raised platform. Today's guests can gaze eastward through updated windows to take in views of the lovely Eola–Amity Hills. The bright, airy space is furnished in soothing shades of blue, green, and grey, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere.
The Jory Flat features a semi-private bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a large east-facing window that fills the room with morning light, and a charming south wall of exposed antique brick. In the living area, the sofa converts into a double bed to accommodate two additional guests, and a rollaway can be added upon request to sleep up to five in total. The bathroom is bright and inviting, with natural light streaming through a south-facing window. It combines vintage charm and modern comfort, featuring an antique clawfoot tub beside a sleek, glass-brick walk-in shower.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a small dining table, a French press with locally roasted Caravan Coffee, a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and electric stovetop. Step outside to the spacious rooftop patio, where a BBQ grill offers even more options for preparing meals. It is partially covered for comfort in any weather & perfect for a friendly game of ping pong with family or simply relaxing while taking in the scenery and enjoying a glass of your favorite beverage at the end of the day.
If carrying luggage upstairs is a challenge, a convenient lift is available to make the trip easier. Operating instructions can be found in your digital guidebook and on the inside wall of the lift.
Our mission is to provide high-quality hospitality to Willamette Valley visitors by partnering with the region's best local businesses to create unforgettable experiences. Through our customizable concierge services and thoughtfully selected amenities, we ensure every guest feels cared for from arrival to departure. We specialize in luxury short-term lodging, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail so you feel right at home during your stay.
Enhance your visit with our private wine tour service, Pinot Car, and experience the beauty and culture of Oregon's world-renowned wine country, where every guest leaves with lasting memories.

Great location in quiet Amity. Convenient to all the surrounding vineyards. The loft was super clean and really nice. We felt it was even better than the listing photos.
The flat was so perfect! Clean and comfortable. Great customer service and communication with host. Traffic was a little loud, but, earplugs were provided :)
Jory Flat was beautiful, comfortable, and immaculately clean. We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift of local wine and treats. It is a great location to stay while exploring this beautiful area of Oregon.
The unit was lovely and so many comforts were considered. They even left us a bottle of wine, some popcorn, and a sweet note. The claw foot tub is an awesome amenity. There is a cute coffee shop and many other places walking distance which was nice. They were honest about the road noise, but I would just add that it is a factor to be considered. They do leave ear plugs. The only other thing I would say as I stayed the first couple nights alone before my partner arrived, that there is no way to lock the door from the inside - only the key pad on the outside of the door. I informed them how that didn't feel super safe. There are two other locked doors to get to before suite doors at least though.
As we arrived into Amity we drove around back from the Main Street to the properties back parking lot. The grounds are clean and manicured nicely. This flat is perfectly located, restaurants wine or beer are within 1-3 blocks depending on what you want. I’m a clean freak, I was very impressed by our flat, it was/is meticulously clean. The cleanliness & attention to every detail including design & comfortable furnishings, this property shows the pride of ownership and understanding of what guests want & need. As a guest I felt cared for by all the staff even tho we had never met. We were completely relaxed on our getaway and appreciated every detail. Thank you for sharing with us your amazingly renovated historic property.
What a lovely apartment! My friend and i were down from Seattle to pick up some wine, and chose this place due to its proximity to the winery. We were so glad we did! Clean and well appointed with everything we needed for a perfect stay. CleClean and well appointed you go
I cane to visit family, and the spacious suite was perfect. I was able to cook, which was important to me. The security was impeccable. I had utter security and peace during my stay. If I.come back to the arra, I would stay there again.
The space was perfect for our quick weekend trip to the McMinnville area.
The bottle of wine was a great touch from the property, complimentary coffee was delicious.
But if like me you’re a light sleeper-
Please note, this loft is on a busy highway. You will hear street traffic at all hours and the street lights are quite bright. That wouldn’t deter me from staying again- I would just bring a sleep mask and earplugs in the future.
