Tim, the host was very welcoming and the accommodations very comfortable. But the best thing about this spot is the amazing view of the water. Perfect place to decompress.
Thank you for such a lovely stay for the night while visiting family in the area. It was a windy night and wonderful to hear the waves in the night :). Your accommodation was all we needed for the night, clean and comfortable.

We can in for a night for a wedding at one of the vineyards. The room was adorable. Owner gave clear directions that were easy to follow in the dark! Hope to be back to explore more.
Location was great. We were unaware that is was just a loft apartment shared with another group and that there was no kitchen although we read the entire listing over 2 months before the trip. It was still a nice trip the loft was a great space and the water was great.

Stay was exactly what we needed for the night; great location along the water—great views and easily accessible. Great communication with the owner and had zero issues throughout the stay!
the accommodation was as advertised. clean ,quiet and comfortable. The walkway with stones was a bit awkward for walking but I understand why it is this way. I would suggest that facecloths be included with the provided towels. Enjoyed stay - would recommend to others
This was my first time stayint at LOFT Escap Aparment and happy to say it was a pleasent experience. Tim was very friendly, helpful and welcoming host, always responsive to messages. This lovely aparment situated just few meters from the lake within a very nice and peceful neighborhood. As a couple traveling far from home, we felt save and secure. If I am ever in or nearby Amherstburg I would definitly look to stayhere again.Jehad

Very clean, great location for our needs. Excellent communication with owner.
Great location, clean, AC worked well, needs some repairs to make it better. Paint peeling in the bathroom, no bowls and few amenities in the kitchenette, water dripping on your head from the gutters every time you open the front door, pile of old wood in the backyard, steep stairs and hazardous walkway make access difficult.
We had a fantastic experience staying here. Gorgeous view, everything was extremely clean, and comfortable. Fun area with lots of vineyards/cold courses surrounding. Can’t wait to be back!
The property was amazing, the host was clear on instructions.
Place is small for 3 adults, there is enough room for 2 adults and 1 child. Will recommend to friends and family.
Thank you Tim
Tim was a great host and promptly responded to all inquiries. The property had everything needed for a quiet weekend away. The grill we brought unfortunately didn't work but we were able to cook everything we brought in the toaster oven. The neighbors were all friendly. For a small extra cost, kayaks and canoes are available. The water was smooth and there weren't many people around, it felt like our own private lake. Thank you for a nice weekend, Tim!
Firstly, as per price it should have individual area.. whereas it was not.. so obviously we were not able to have out private time.. secondly AC wasn’t cooling properly.. thirdly if there are cleaning and service charges , should provide 2 towels per individual person if stay is for 2 nights.. no extra bedsheets were there.
Last and not the least wifi wasn’t even showing up and if it was, not connecting or working properly.. so overall experience i wasn’t happy happy as I thought i will be..
Pros:
• Excellent location right on the lake with lovely beaches and parks within walking distance.
• The interior features excellent material quality and furniture; it's truly impressive what the owner has accomplished in such a limited space.
• Although we didn't need to communicate much with the host, when we did speak with him he was quite friendly. He also clearly has some experience in hosting - a quality that often gets overlooked.
• Relatively inexpensive.
Cons:
• This will be obvious to anyone who read the property description and/or saw the photos, but a list of the rental's "cons" can't not mention what's in my opinion it's biggest drawback: it is a rather small studio without a full kitchen. Again - that fact should be obvious to anyone reading this - but I couldn't not mention it.
• The interior stairway that connects the entry-door to the 2nd-floor living space does not have a gate or anything at the top, so if you'll be bringing a small child, bring a gate with you that you can use to block off their access to the stairway (we used a chair, which worked fine, but still for small kids I recommend bringing a gate).
Conclusion: This is a fantastic option for anyone looking for an inexpensive yet comfortable place to serve as a base of operations for enjoying local activities.
