"House smelled freshly cleaned when we arrived, and our dog loved the backyard! We all enjoyed relaxing out there, with plenty of furniture to do so. We never heard trucks coming and going from the garage/company next door, so no issues there at all. The grill was dirty and propane empty, but when we reached out to the owner they offered to come immediately and resolve both issues! We soy there had been more kitchen items- only one sheet pan, and no mixing bowls- but we made do. Thanks for a comfortable stay!!!"

"The house was just what we needed for a two- week stay that included a Christmas gathering of our family as well as the birth of our grandson 3 days later. Proximity to the hospital and to the home of our daughter was important, but I must say the house itself was exactly what we had hoped - spacious, very clean, and well furnished; it has a comfortable great room with plenty of seating (including 4 recliners!), very nice beds and bedding, good kitchen, lots of room for socializing while still providing separate spaces for privacy when desired. The 6-year old in our family enjoyed the game room and backyard play area (briefly, due to the weather!). We also appreciated the bottle of wine and cookies that greeted us upon arrival. Definitely one of the best rental experiences in our years of happy travels with VRBO."

"The wooden shoe, as the owners have tastefully named this rental, is great. We were a family of 8, including two children and the house was perfect for our extended weekend trip. The house is in an ideal location if you want to be close to the downtown while also getting that cabin feel. The yard is part lake part forest and an absolute delight to wake up to. Hosts have you set up for everything with sufficient toiletries, kitchen supplies, and ample toys for kids. The dvd collection was more than impressive, all the classics! Had a great time and will be back! "
