Air conditioning in all rooms which was a great asset. The host, Gian, was very knowledgeable and helpful. "The setting is just gorgeous - gardens, vegetation and the building exterior. Very spacious well-kept grounds with access (via a steep path) to the lake-side and the peaceful and secluded private beach. Lovely pool area and decent-sized well-maintained pool. The apartment interior was spacious and rustic - fairly basic but authentic farmhouse furnishings. The only negative thing to say would be that it could have been cleaner."

The reason for 3 stars is they charged one couple in our group 80eu PER NIGHT for a pack and play (folding crib) for their infant. Most hotels provide this for free or 5-10Eu. For that price, they could provide a brand new one each night and let them take it home. That's our only complaint, otherwise it was a nice place to stay. "

"This was an EXCELLENT stay!! We had a private apartment suite. It included a full kitchen, bathroom, and 2 rooms. I didnt realize the size of it when we booked, it was just me and my husband. The staff was so friendly and guided us to the best parts of the city. 15 minute walk from the funicular. You can take the bus from the station of you prefer, 5 minute walk from the duomo. Whple trip was bsolutely stunning!!!! Highly recommend this hotel"
