"Great location with excellent food and very close to Amboseli National Park. Even on the last mile to the lodge you can spot giraffes, zebras, gazelles, monkeys, elephants. We enjoyed very much the location."

I booked a room in A.A. Lodge Amboseli
Amboseli, Kajiado County, Kenya, through the online hotel.com service on February 23 and paid $ 177 for 1 day through a visa card. When I arrived in A.A. Lodge Amboseli, the hotel administrator did not meet me warmly, suspecting that I really paid for the stay? How will I prove it?
When I showed the confirmation from hotels.com from my email, he stated that hotels.com had not yet transferred the money to their account, so I have to pay in cash now ......

"Let me start by saying the staff and service was excellent. You could not fault them for trying to please and ensuring that they made you as welcome and comfortable as possible. But the camp itself was very run down and showers and general facilities disappointing. The blame for this has to be with the owners of the camp who have failed to spend money on decent facilities. The money we paid was not a mean amount and I am sure others paid more but really the owners need to reconsider whether or...
