Very good overall but internal corridor security was confusing and could have been better labelled. We had to phone the desk to tell us how to use the security switches in order to get to the restaurant!

Our stay at the Waterhead Inn was even better than expected. The area was perfect - lovely and peaceful (despite it being the bank holiday weekend) but right on the lake, situated just a few meters away from where you can get the boat into Bowness, with 4 or 5 gorgeous beer gardens right on your doorstep. The staff were all so lovely, breakfast was delicious and the room was extremely spacious with huge, comfy beds! Will definitely be returning to this hotel for another relaxing break soon.
