"Breakfast ok fresh cooked. Breakfast staff excellent. Rooms ok need updating. Hotel needs updating. Most of the staff very professional one or two need to be more professional with the customer."

"Lovely hotel with gorgeous decor, comfortable rooms & bed, and very nice breakfast. We had no hot water due to a plumbing issue the first day but this was rectified the next day. Otherwise a perfect stay. The Fauna Brewery opposite worth a visit!"

"Before we even went, the hosts were fantastic! When we first walked into the barn, the reaction was WOW! It is a gorgeous place! There was a lovely welcome basket which was appreciated. We had 10 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. We were lucky to have a sunny weekend and used all the outside seating areas and the hot tub. The kitchens are well stocked and had everything needed for the weekend. There was ample plates / cutlery / pans, there was useful kitchen items like cling film, kitchen roll and foil. There was tea and coffee provided as well so we really only needed to bring food to eat and the drinks. We all had a wonderful weekend and I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday. The only feedback is that more storage for food is needed in the main kitchen - we found ourselves running back and forth to the snug kitchen all weekend but at least we worked off some of the food! "

"Really nice staff, very welcoming it’s looking a little tired now in communal areas and bathroom but lovely grounds to walk around. Unfortunately our evening meal came out cold and then came back microwaved after sending it back."

"We loved our stay here. We could easily walk everywhere. The owner was helpful in several ways beyond expectation. While the street below our room was noisy in the daytime, it was very quiet at night. The provided tea and juice was much appreciated, and without our asking, the owner bought gluten free oat milk, just in case we wanted it. There is little space to spread out our things in the bathroom we had, but as accommodating as Rosie is, I expect she'll remedy that. I recommend this place and would stay again!"

"Very basic hotel for the price of stay. Didn’t find the beds comfortable at all and room was extremely hot. Lots of parking on site and staff very friendly. Breakfast was less desirable, not a great deal available. "

"I loved the sitting room which had very interesting historical references. The bedroom was very clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel is in a great location. I took a drink from the Tap bar into the sitting room and relaxed after a busy day. I would definitely stay here again and will pass it on to anyone I know who wants to visit Arundel. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming."

"This is a real castle, though the part that's occupied is not nearly as old as the original part, and it's been made into a luxurious hotel. There aren't many rooms, so it's quiet. The five-course dinner was one of the best meals we've ever enjoyed, and it was served expertly. Unfortunately we had to leave too early to partake of their breakfast, which was bound to be superb."
