"We booked a premium room but the room given was completely different to the photos provided. Address was different to what was given on here. Had to wait over an hour for check in time evenknow we arrived within check in time. When we asked about the room being premium we were ignored. On boat staff were fine and accomodating which is the reason I didnt give a lower rating. We ended up booking another place for the second night because we were so disappointed. "

"These houseboats are not the ones featured in the pictures. It was a different company from the advertised Northstar, it is rather Coco houseboats. The first boat offered to us was awful with no comfortable seating area and the bedrooms were dismal with dirty linen. "Unfortunately I had to cut short the holiday as the hotel is not what I was expecting. It has no restaurant on site TV did not work WIFI was non existent The beech is a 15 minute walk The reception didn't look like one The rooms were stuffy and smelt of stale air The shower in one of the rooms did not work The road leading to the room was muddy following the monsoon with no amenities to keep your shoes clean. On the plus point: The staff were enthusiastic and helpful The rooms are big The bedsheets were clean The overall cleanliness was good. "

"We enjoyed Backwater Resort very much. We stayed 1 evening before an overnight houseboat trip. We enjoyed the resort so much we returned for another day just relaxing. The staff are all super accommodating and everyone greets you in passing. 5 star service. The rooms are done very well with real wood furnishing. It is isolated from the city but so quiet and relaxing. Finally, great lake views."
