New and clean property with spacious rooms. Very central and walking distance to the main attractions. Approximately 2-3 minute walk away from the beach. But tucked away into the residential quarters that it’s still quiet and peaceful. Hotel manager is super responsive and directly reached out via Expedia and WhatsApp to coordinate check-in process and provide special instructions. Front staff is not present 24hrs, but all guests are provided with a key to the main entrance, and there was never any issue with safety. Excellent stay, highly recommend.

Great place to stay in Amalfi. Centrally located, so easy to get to from town or the beach. And very helpful staff. Affiliated restaurant in the main plaza has a great breakfast.

Really lovely place too stay, staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, and items replenished when asked for room to be cleaned. Location was excellent, steps up to the property, but too be expected in Amalfi. There is a free porter service, too help with luggage. Inside was quiet, couldn’t hear anything from other rooms. So pleased we stayed here, if was in Amalfi again, would stay here again. Thank you all for making our stay wonderful!

Great location!

Great location in Amalfi! Close to lots of restaurants, bars, and cafes! The staff were helpful and kind. The room was clean. The temperatures outside were still hot in September, and it was hard to get the air conditioner to keep the room comfortable and cool. The bed needed a mattress pad or mattress topper. The sheets were just on the mattress which had hard buttons all over it.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was the perfect location. It’s about 60 stairs up to get to the property, but the location is right off the bus station and it’s a block away from the cathedral and main dining area. The girls at the reception desk were incredibly helpful with coordinating dinners and activities for us. The bed is a little on the firm side but that is the only tiny detail that wasn’t perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my 4 nights stay here very much. Naomi and Anza are both very friendly and helpful. They guided me many things, where I can find buses and which places to visit. Lovely staff, room are bigger and it also have a balcony. The only thing about it is there are 60 steps going up to the hotel which can be tiring if you have luggages. But You can request them for free porter service, they will help you bring the luggage up and/or down. They can also order the airport shuttle for you for €20/person going straight to the airport. Hotel is very convenient to the central plaza with the church and shopping (5 mins walk) and ferry port or bus stop is right there as well. Love this hotel, definately will be staying here again if I come back to Amalfi.

This is a great budget friendly option for Amalfi. It is right in the heart of everything - literally ate at restaurants less than 5 minute walk from our room. It is up 67 stairs which can be rough but definitely doable. The sea view was partial but beautiful. Staff were very kind. Always put water and snacks in our room. They offer porter service for free but we didn’t take advantage of that. The huge thing about this place is the location. Cannot stress enough how close it is to everything. A few downsides: it is next to a busy road (the main road that runs through amalfi) that can be quite loud. No fan in the bathroom and the shower drained very poorly.

Residenza Pansa was in a convenient location, but was hard to find; google maps has a hard time with steps and alley-ways that are prevalent in Amalfi. It would be helpful if walking directions were provided for guests to assist in finding the hotel from the ferry/bus area. The room and staff were great and the small out-door terrace was nice too. The down-side of this property is that it is located right above the main road in town, so it is quite noisy.

The location is great albeit a bit busy as the property is in the centre of Amalfi. The bed was clean and comfortable. The balcony was nice. My problem with this stay was an overall lack of cleanliness. The floor was very dirty and the shower was covered in mould. We still had a great time but the dirtiness was quite off putting.

Best kept secret in Amalfi

Suzi at the front desk went out of her way to be sure we had an amazing stay! Be sure you call ahead for the porter service to help with your luggage, as there are two long flights of stairs to get to the room. Best location by far! We were steps from everything, but enjoyed peace and quiet in our room with an amazing view!

Great place and location. They arranged valet parking with a locale garage who met us in the square. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Lovely little balcony. Only downside is no extractor fan in the bathroom. If you have accessibility issues the stairs to the hotel may be difficult, however so will Amalfi as a whole.
