Fresh and inviting, The Red Bird is one of four thoughtfully designed tiny treehouse cabins tucked into the woods in Alvord, Texas — a peaceful retreat for two.

Just an hour from DFW, this 14×12 tiny cabin features warm, natural textures and a light, modern feel. It’s the perfect place to unwind and reconnect. Inside, you'll find a plush king bed, blackout curtains, smart TV, WiFi, a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and a small workspace. Step outside to your private porch seating and enjoy the peaceful woodland setting.

Bedroom & Bathhouse
1 King Bed in your room. Private bathroom access in the bathhouse located 200 ft away. Each bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity, and is locked for your exclusive use.
At night, stroll the softly lit sidewalks to and from your cabin, relax in your private hammock, or gather at your picnic table under the trees.

During your stay, you may meet Tito, our friendly black cat mascot, who loves greeting guests and keeping critters away!

4Forty4 Ranch provides easy access to over 20,000 acres of trails, scenic views, and outdoor adventure in the LBJ National Grasslands, and the property itself is situated on 30+ private wooded acres — perfect for quiet exploration, nature walks, or simply relaxing outdoors.

You’re also just minutes from NRS Ranch, Eagles Canyon Raceway, and several wedding venues. Plus, you’ll have access to our community Pickleball Court — bring your paddles and challenge your travel partner to a game! Unwind by the fire pit, take a stroll by the pond, or simply enjoy the serenity of the forest.

✨ Need more space? There are three other identical cabins on-site, each sleeping two guests. You can also rent the entire property and enjoy full privacy for up to eight guests — perfect for small events or group gatherings.

We welcome events for an added fee! You can rent the entire property, sleeping up to 8 guests across all four cabins, and enjoy full privacy. This property is managed by The Bear Cabins in BB, LLC. Your host is available by text, message, or call during your stay! After booking, you’ll be asked to complete a pre-arrival form, submit ID, and sign our rental agreement. Self check-in code will be sent 3 days before arrival.
