Best Stay Ever

Our stay was very enjoyable the rooms clean and spacious staff was awesome. Breakfast was delicious. If ever in Altus we will stay at the Hampton thanks for the wonderful experience.

Nice place.

Stay was great! Breakfast awesome, bed comfortable, room spacious. Pillows not great, so if you need good pillows…bring your own.

AC in the entire building didn’t seem to work, the lobby was hot and sticky, third floor was awful. AC in our room didn’t seem to work or keep the room cool. Bathtub had mold growing around the edge, overall would not stay here again and if I could go back and pick somewhere else in town I 110% would

Great Stay!

Everything was great. You can tell they take care of the property. Only thing I would advise is to get a new card reader for hallway door so it would be easier to exit/enter when walking pets. 99.9% satisfied.

Terrible.

I arrived waited 30 minutes for the front desk person to wake up. They got extremely rude and condescending to me and asked me if I knew what side my left was since I used the wrong phone to call them… I used the closest phone to the sign that was on my left. They became more rude. I ended up leaving and not checking in or staying even though I paid for two days. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The lobby smelled of food as soon as you walked in. There is no complimentary water in the room.It was an outdated room and the bedding had been bleached to remove stains. The carpet was dirty and the room smelled. It was horrible in the shower, and I have pictures to prove it. I almost slipped off the toilet seat because it is loose. I paid 175.00 plus taxes for this room and got motel six room. I visit Altus, Oklahoma because I have grandkids there. Last time I stayed there, wires were hanging in entrance because roof collapsed. Room was the same and lobby stinks of foreign food. Very disappointing to think this is a Hilton.

I have had great experiences with Hampton Inn in the past, which is why i didn't hesitate to book them for this trip. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast bar was good. However, the pool was out of order as was the fitness room. These were 2 reasons i booked this hotel Additionally, we saw insects on the floor of the lobby more than once and our shower had mold! Come on Hampton Inn, you are better than this!

We took one look and didn't even check in. Drove all the way back to Vernon, Tex to stay in Super 8. i can't fathom why Expedia would risk/ contaminate its credibility by endorsing this homeless shelter/rent by the hour/unsanitary place. What steps can i take to get at least a partial refund?

Everyone was courteous, breakfast was excellent, Cleanliness was pretty good. Some trash in grounds. We chose this motel because of the indoor pool. However the pool was out if service when we got there, This was not noted on the website. I noted that it should have been! She said the pool had been out for over two years! I said well that absolutely should have been on the website! So we had to take the kids clear across town to the City pool!

Ir is a lovely hotel. I boked there because it was pet friendly but the list of restrictions for the pet were difficult for us. Our dog is elderly and deaf so its not like I can give her a voice command and expect her to obey. I am in the process of trying to teach her hand signals but her deafness is a relatively new situation. I probably won't book there again because of the resrictions. I understand their purpose but i don't want to spend every second being concerned the job might jump on the couch. The facility is nice and the breakfast was very nice with lots of choices.

We were in town for our mother's funeral and had an overall great experience, though things were shaky at first. The tenant across the hall had dogs that were barking incessantly. We alerted the clerk, who promptly addressed the issue after reviewing their check-in information which did not show they notified the property they had a dog. Unfortunately, we did have to call the clerk two more times before the tenants removed the dog from the room. Other than that, it appears that no house-keeping occurs outside of normal hours. Three rooms around us placed several trash bags outside of their room, which sat from around 4pm until the following morning. The bed was SO comfortable. We did have restful sleep and no distractions other than the dog. We would definitely stay here again.
