"Big, comfortable room."

"I feel it's important to temper any review with the correct expectation going in: THIS IS NOT THE RITZ CARLTON, nor does it profess to be. Don't expect luxury; that's not what this place is. I wanted an inexpensive place to sleep, was not traveling with my wife, and needed to be close to UO campus. This place checked all the boxes. The room was clean with new carpet; sheets were immaculate; the room was small but serviceable (desk, locking door, etc.) It's communal living -- shared bathroom and well-appointed kitchen (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig), so there's a bit of hallway/stairs noise from other guests, which is to be expected. If you need a place to crash for a night or two near campus, this place works. It felt a bit like a nice European hostel. One suggested improvement would be a room safe. "

"Parking is simple, once one sees that you need to go up a "do not enter" path about 20 feet to get into the driveway. Rooms are meticulously clean, but small and there is no desk space to work at. Complementary glass of wine after check-in. Walking distance to some really good restaurants. Bottles of water in the mini-fridge are a nice touch."
