Room was clean. No complaints here. Easy key pickup and check out. We felt safe here. There were lots of other tourists there- mostly older folks in a tour group. They were very friendly.

It is a very peaceful, very clean, & very well taken care of place. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is defenitly a good place to get away if you want peace & quiet for relaxation, to write, for couple away time, ect.

No TV , no staff (get your key in a mailbox) , restaurant closed and closest place to eat is 12 miles back the way you came.Only place to offer two beds in the Park area reason I booked it.

Did not use. Its saltvwater and was cold. Room was clean. Very plain beds ok Not real comfortable. Hard. Water only warm and notbmuch pressure.

The room was spacious and comfortable and we had everything we needed, including bottled water when we arrived. The pool is quite pleasant, but with few chairs so bring your own if you plan to lounge there. Our only suggestion would be to lower the very bright light on the pole in the parking lot so we could actually enjoy the dark skies.

Room was clean. Check in time was 3:00. We were there about 3:30. Had to walk around to find someone that worked there to get the key. The guy was not friendly or welcoming at all. Website should state that GPS will not get you to the address stated. Had to drive around and finally ask someone after we went 20 minutes out of the way.

The distance described prior to booking showed around 16 minutes from Big Bend National Park, that was very misleading, drove for 1 hour instead.swimming pool didn’t look good.

The heater in our room stopped working at midnight. We froze. We didn’t contact the host because we were so exhausted and would have had to move all of our stuff. The light between the beds wouldn’t work and was missing a shade. The bed was comfortable. I wish we would have known there was no TV in the room so we could have brought a laptop or something. We came in late and had no idea where our room was and there was no one to ask, so my husband had to walk the rooms in the cold until he found ours. It would have been nice to have a little map showing us where to go in the dark. Overall the room didn’t meet our basic needs with the heater not working but we made do.

Our trip to the Longhorn Ranch Motel exceeded our expectations. My daughter and I were traveling alone to visit Big Bend and I was a little nervous about the remoteness of the trip. We felt completely safe, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was also kind and considerate. We had a short drive to the park with a convenient gas station on the way! I would recommend this motel to anyone taking a trip to the area.

Good location close to the national park and state park. Beautiful ground. Called twice before my trip and staff answered phone quickly and offered instructions clearly. Checking in and out was smooth. I did not get to meet the staff because of the time I left and returned during my stay. Restaurant closed at 4 so I didn't get to try the food. Overall a very pleasant stay.
